“To ThemeREX: On 17 January 2026 we responsibly reported a serious security incident on our production site running your ANN theme: multiple unauthorized PHP files created within minutes inside core directories and trx_addons paths. We offered hashes, timestamps and directory listings. Your only reply was "thank you" — no investigation, no advisory, no patch guidance. In June 2026, CVE-2026-1969 (unauthenticated arbitrary file upload in ThemeREX Addons < 2.38.5) was publicly disclosed — the same vulnerability class we reported in January. You never notified your customers.👮‍♀️ In July 2026 our server was breached again; attacker shells exfiltrated database credentials, authentication salts and user data across 26 sites. Your silence between our January report and the public CVE left every customer exposed. We have published a 1-star review documenting this and filed a refund request with Envato.”
