“The foot massage was good, not the greatest that I’ve had. Part of the experience of going is to relax. The two therapist were talking super loudly amongst each other. One of them was on the phone and answering the business line throughout my massage and got up twice to help people pay during my massage. Some of those things are OK but at the same time their entire space smells like cigarette smoke. That part I cannot handle. I will still always go back to the newton or 152 location. “Went in for a 60-minute foot massage booked for two people from 3:00–4:00 PM. We arrived at 3:20, but had called ahead to let them know we were running late and were told it was okay. When we got there, my massage started while my mom sat waiting for about 10 minutes. We were then told they could no longer accommodate both of us because we were late and could only do one session. The massage itself felt rushed and stressful — completely the opposite of how a massage should make you feel. “I hate to give a bad review, but it was a fast-paced assembly line operation...in front of the window facing the street. We all still had our coats on, and there were a number of us there all getting foot massages at the same time. I beared with the massage for 5 or more mins, and then I was very motivated to get up and leave. The therapist was very insensitive to her work. There was no connection to my foot in a feeling way. It felt like it was all about the money. I had to contort my foot to try to gt away from the pain she was causing. I do my own reflexology on my feet, as a healing arts therapist of 32 years, so they are doing quite good. Plus I freestyle dance alot, so my feet are in good condition. I just wanted something relaxing mainly. the therapist noticed that I wasn't happy with her work, so as quick as a wink, and with a smile, they got me another therapist. He also, was not sensitive, just like the other one. I was not enjoying the experience at all, so I got up and left. I do believe that they felt a need to do correction, even though, I didn't say much, as I went to the door. What i believe was a necessary change, was for them to recalibrate why they are doing the work, and calm down. They forgot that it was for the client...not them, and their pocket. They have to slow down, and connect to the energy of the person receiving, and feel their way through it. If they have not done this, after studying, they cannot integrate the practice at...at least...a satisfactory level. My apologies, but once again, they may have made the correction.
