“I came to Better Body for physiotherapy after spraining my right ankle while playing basketball. Before starting my weekly appointments, I wasn’t able to play any sports because my ankle wasn’t fully healed or strong enough. After just a couple of weeks of treatment, which included laser therapy and resistance band exercises, my ankle began to improve. Once I completed that phase Manolo helped me with physical exercises, we shifted the focus to strengthening my ankle so it could return to 100%. We did ladder drills, box jumps, balance exercises, skater jumps, and treadmill running. The staff were also really nice and helpful throughout the whole process. After a few weeks, my right ankle was just as strong as my left. I am now playing sports again and haven’t experienced any pain in my ankle since. I would highly recommend Better Body!”

“I've had a great experience this summer in physiotherapy with Manolo — professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He takes the time to ask questions, explain everything clearly, and tailors treatment to your specific needs. Thanks to his support this summer, I was able to recover from a sprained ankle and some chronic shoulder inflammation within a reasonable timeframe and learn skills to keep the pain away. Also, Better Body is one of the most reasonably priced providers I've been to and direct bills to insurance, which is much appreciated. Highly recommend!”

“I have been treated by the Better Body - Scarborough professionals in many instances and have used variety of their services with 100% satisfaction. Dr. Paul Jain (Chiropractor/Pedorthist) treated me for back pain years ago and ever since, my husband and I have always gone back to him / Better Body for any treatments. We were very happy with the service and he is an awesome doctor. My last treatment was in March 2025 with Kirti Patel (Massage Therapist) Harshpreet Kaur (Physio Therapist), and Manolo Calingo (Registered Kinesiologist). The care provided was outstanding and their understanding towards the patients is excellent. Manolo designed an exercise program exclusively for me to help out with my fitness level considering the issues I had. Awesome work and great bunch of individuals!!!”

“I have been going to Better Body for I believe almost if not more than 2 years. I have received massages and physiotherapy. I really enjoyed my physiotherapy. Manolo is absolutely fantastic! Manolo has helped me tremendously throughout my journey. He has gotten me to a place I feel comfortable and can go to the gym and do the exercises he’s taught me by myself and feel good about myself! He definitely dishes out the tough love but in a very positive and motivated way! He’s patient and he actually listens to your concerns and helps you work towards your goals! I am always referring Better Body to friends and family if they are looking for any services. The environment is friendly and welcoming and I am always laughing up a storm when I’m there.
