“The service was professional but they told me that my son had to wear glasses all the time. I went to another optometrist and they said he didnt need to wear it all the time and that his prescription was too strong. “I called and they were able to reserve me an appointment the same day to fill the spot of someone who cancelled. There was nearby parking on the street luckily when I arrived. Once inside I was wasn't waiting to long, the clinic was clean and the waiting area very spacious. I enjoyed doing all the different types of tests and exams. They have a lot of modern technology at this location. The VR headset at the end was a fun experience. It took me about 2 hours. The health of my eyes was good and we figured out that it would be beneficial for me to get glasses. I have never had glasses before so there was a lot to learn. The optometrist was very knowledgeable and informative. Although I am more English I tried to use my French... all the staff members were very friendly in English & French with me. I would highly recommend doing an exam here. They also have glasses on sale but I didn't have time to stop by to check them out yet. I look forward to visiting again. One area of improvement the receptionists could be more careful when scanning peoples documents as they almost damage my claim form which the optometrist had just filled out. That's a minor issue though and overall I would still recommend coming here.”Read moreShow less

“My glasses got lost as I was traveling to Montreal, so I needed a new pair ASAP! My sister suggested this place and I'm so happy I went with them :) First off, they had no issue accepting my prescription that came form California which was already great news! Fanny, the manager, was the one who helped me find the perfect frame and types of lenses that fit exactly what I wanted. She was so knowledgeable, and so helpful showing me so many frames that I didn't even know would look good on me. She really knows her stuff! She even got my glasses on rush order and they were ready in 2 days! Wow... I'm so grateful! Melanie was the one who fitted my glasses when I went to pick them up. She was also so kind and patient, fitted my glasses with care and attention and answered all my questions. I'm SUPER impressed by the quality of the staff at Bélanger Optometry, the selection of frames they have, their competitive prices, and the overall quality of the service I received here. “My daughter's eyes suddenly went bad. She didn't even see the school bulletin board. My friend introduced me to the optician's shop. I hesitated a little because there was a bad Google review. But contrary to what I expected, they were really professional and friendly. From the beginning, the specialist and one other person explained it together. And they explained and waited until she could put her lens into her eyes by herself.They waited and explained it to her for a very, very long time. Wow, that was so touching. Her name was Paule, who was so grateful. and I don't remember the other person's name, but she was a pretty and kind woman. I highly recommend it. They were kind, caring, and professional. “Optometrist was patient and thorough. However, I'm not impressed with communication that was done prior and the atmosphere. They seem to be a very busy clinic, my app was at 1h30 and the exam started at 2h20. I did not have my cell phone and I wish they would add magasines or something to look at while waiting. Prior to my exam, I communicated that I needed contact lenses as I was running out. When it was time to pay, I only got a prescription for my glasses (which I did not need) and they said that it was another procedure for contact lenses and it would cost another 80-90 bucks. I understand this is their process, but I wish they would have communicated this to me before and not add extra costs. I've been through a lot of optometrists and they always give me both RX during the visit. I just think this place should have asked prior "will you need a RX for glasses, contacts?" “I brought my daughter at Costco, Rue Bridge in Montreal for an eye exam and they referred her to Clinique D’Optometrie Belanger for an Orthokeratology. Orthokeratology is a surgery free way for children and young adults to leave their glasses behind and not have to wear contact lenses all the time. It is the use of specially designed contact lenses to temporarily reshape the cornea to improve vision. It is worn at night to shape the front of the eye while you sleep. The minute I set my foot at this Clinic, I was impressed with the interior setting, the decor and the cleanliness. I have always associated a clinic to be much like a hospital that has sick patients, rude nurses and a heavy atmosphere. How could I have been so wrong? We were greeted well by one of the three customer service personnel. The waiting time was very reasonable. All the equipment around looked new and technologically advanced. The eye exam performed by qualified professionals went extremely well. It is quite rare to have professionals being overly patient and attentive in dealing with their clientele. Exceptional service! I do not have to say where my entire family will have our next eye exams done.”Read moreShow less

“Excellent service. First time at the clinic and I loved all the tests they run on you for analysis, it gave a very good initial check. The Dr Valerie Jasmine was very patient with all my questions and did cover all the aspects of my visit. Will indeed return.”
