“For the past three years, Beacon House Day Care has been such a wonderful support for our family, and a big part of that has been the care, kindness, and dedication of Ms. Huma. From the very beginning, she welcomed my son into the before-and-after school program with warmth and understanding, creating a place where he felt comfortable, happy, and safe. Every day, I knew he was in the hands of someone who truly cared for him — not just as a student, but as a person. Whether it was encouraging good habits, sharing in his little daily stories, or simply being a friendly and caring presence, Ms. Huma always made each child feel valued. Over these three years, she has been a constant, positive presence in my son’s life, and her support has meant more to us than words can say. As we prepare to move, it’s hard to say goodbye to someone who has been such an important part of our daily routine and our son’s happiness. “My son has been attending Beacon House Childcare since 2023, and it was his very first daycare experience in Canada. When he joined, he was just 1.5 years old. As newcomers to the country, we were nervous about finding the right daycare for him. When we discovered Beacon House Childcare and met Ms. Huma, the owner, all our worries quickly disappeared. We were immediately impressed by the welcoming environment, her professional qualifications, extensive experience, and above all, her unwavering kindness. Understanding our situation as newcomers, she generously offered us a discount, which we truly appreciated. Our son, Akein, adjusted to the daycare very quickly and has enjoyed every minute spent there. Ms. Huma regularly updated us on his development and was always available to guide us whenever there were any concerns—especially around his social and interpersonal development. Her insights have been incredibly valuable for us as first-time parents in a new country. Beacon House Childcare offers so much more than just playtime. Akein has loved participating in circle time, field trips, special celebrations, art activities, and more. One of the biggest highlights for us has been the healthy and delicious meals provided for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Despite being a picky eater at home, Akein absolutely loves the food at daycare—especially when it’s made by Ms. Huma! Finding Beacon House Childcare has been one of the best things to happen to our family since moving to Canada. “We are incredibly thankful to have found Beacon House Childcare for our son, who attended from 2022 for before and after school care. We are sad to move away from her as we are moving. As newcomers to Canada, we were so fortunate to meet Ms. Huma, who welcomed us with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. She made the transition easy for our family and created a safe, loving environment where our son felt comfortable and happy every day. Drop-offs and pick-ups from school were always smooth and on time, and we appreciate how dependable and organized Beacon House Childcare was. Our son especially loved the summer days at Beacon House—filled with fun activities and lots of happy memories. Birthdays and other special occasions were always celebrated with excitement and care, making each event memorable for the children. It was heartwarming to see how much effort Ms. Huma put into making every child feel special. “My son has been with Beacon house daycare since February. Miss Huma has a great program for the kids with lots of field trips, outdoor activities and learning. She shares photos regularly so we can see what he is doing. Their team helped my 12 month old transition to one nap and full time daycare.
