“I didn’t know how much I needed osteopathy until a friend recommended Dr. Murphy. Even in my first visit, I didn’t really know why I was there (all I knew is I was feeling unwell, exhausted, lost in brain fog and very anxious); but we quickly uncovered several past physical injuries and health issues to work on, and after her gentle treatments and recommendations, I began feeling better. My primary treatment plan lasted about a year, and we tackled so many challenges my body was having, including new injuries acquired along the way. Her understanding of how the body structure, blood flow, nerves and mind work in connection, and what to do about it, was the only thing that could truly help me when I was having difficulties that my other doctors misunderstood. I felt safe and supported at visits and really appreciated being under her care during some very challenging times as I worked to heal and regain health. “What is the main reason to see a doctor? Usually to feel better. Could be Allergies - really bad ones. Or Covid side effects - really long lasting ones. Perhaps Chronic pain from a car accident - a really, really old one. Or even Workout injuries - really silly but really painful ones. If you ask Dr Susanne Murphy to help, she will be very kind, gentle and reassuring. And she will help you feel better. We know because we did ask her, and she did help us. “We are SO grateful for the care of Dr. Murphy! At 2 months my daughter began sleeping through the night and as a consequence, developed plagiocephaly (a flat spot). After taking her to see a pediatrician who recommended a helmet, I was desperate to find a more natural approach. Being in the healthcare field ourselves, my husband and I would never subject our beautiful little baby to such artificial cranial compression for such an extended period of time. We believe the only time a baby's cranium should be compressed is when coming down the vaginal canal! Our daughter began seeing Dr. Murphy after obsessive research on natural treatments for plagiocephaly led me to osteopathy. Since our initial visit, our daughter has been improving and her flat spot is almost completely gone! Her body just needed the appropriate guidance to do its thing! Dr. Murphy is very professional, compassionate, and now our entire family sees her to stay healthy :) She truly is gifted and you will be in great hands with her! Our boys love how happy she always is and her smile! Even my husband who is a harsh critic of medical providers agrees she has actually helped him!
