“I’m thankful to the wonderful team at Avivo Health Alliance for the exceptional care and support I received throughout my pregnancy journey. A special thank you to Dr. Kristin Ambacher, Dr. Michelle Suri, Dr. Aisling Mahalingham, Dr. Susan L. Baranowski, and nurse Sanaa for their compassion, patience, and dedication. Every concern was heard with care, and I always felt supported, reassured, and genuinely cared for during such an important time in my life. Thank you for making this experience feel safe, positive, and so well supported.”Read moreShow less

“I would not recommend this clinic based on my experience. From start to finish, the office felt disorganized, impersonal, and unprofessional. When I arrived, I was taken to the basement and left sitting alone in a chair at the bottom of the stairs for 30 minutes before I finally had to ask someone if they had forgotten about me. Once I was brought into the exam room, a woman — perhaps a nurse — put a blood pressure cuff on me, handed me a Post-it note and pen, and instructed me to write down my own blood pressure reading for Dr. Kang. I found this shocking. It would have taken less than 2 minutes for staff to properly record it themselves. Patients could easily misread or inaccurately report their numbers, which is a legitimate health concern. What made it even more concerning was that when Dr. Kang entered the room, she did not question why I was still sitting there wearing the blood pressure cuff. I eventually removed it myself. The appointment itself felt rushed because the clinic was already running about 40 minutes behind. I was prescribed sleeping pills for sudden weight gain, which I found confusing and poorly explained. The medication was not covered under my benefits plan, and for the past 2 weeks I have been trying to reach an actual person to discuss a more affordable alternative. Calls always go to voicemail, and when staff return calls, they leave no message if you miss them. To make matters worse, I received an email scheduling a follow-up appointment 2 months from now even though the issues from my initial appointment have still not been resolved. Overall, the experience felt chaotic, dismissive, and poorly managed. I left with very little confidence in the level of care being provided.”Read moreShow less

“We had an excellent experience with Dr. Rachel throughout my wife’s entire pregnancy and during the delivery of our baby. She was professional, caring, knowledgeable, and always made us feel comfortable and supported during every appointment. We’re truly grateful for the care and attention she provided during such an important time in our lives. The only area that really needs improvement is the front desk phone service. It is extremely difficult to get calls answered, and even when leaving a voicemail, callbacks can sometimes take 2–3 days, which can be very frustrating especially during pregnancy when timely communication matters. Other than that, the overall experience with Dr. Rachel Wang and the care team was wonderful, and we highly recommend them.”Read moreShow less

“I requested to be at Avivo when my boss said his family delivered with this clinic for all three of his kids and had an amazing experience. I am so grateful to have been connected with Avivo and the wonderful people at this clinic. Everyone was so kind and organized. Dr. Kent was my OB, she is logical, practical, extremely smart and very good at communicating. I looked forward to every appointment with her, she was honest and humble but very direct which was exactly what I needed. After I delivered my baby boy, she was at the hospital and came into my postpartum room to go through everything and answer any questions. I know she did not have to do that, but it meant everything to me. She made me feel calm and normal, something that is not easy to do after having your first birth with your baby in NICU. She is a very talented doctor and I hope to have all my children under her care.”Read moreShow less

“Dr. Galdon was a pleasure to work with, and I had a very positive experience with her as my OB. The nursing staff was also excellent and consistently supportive. My primary concerns were with the office management and front desk staff, who often seemed unclear on office procedures. The office was frequently difficult to reach by phone, and responses to inquiries were often delayed or they were confused. Appointments also did not always run on time, which at times gave the impression that the practice may be managing a too high of a patient volume for them to handle. Additionally, interactions with the office or administrative manager felt unwelcoming and lacked professionalism. Not sure I ever saw her smile. Seems a lot of people have similar opinions maybe they should look at hiring someone new.”Read moreShow less
