“This year, I had the honour of planning the Autism In Mind Gala, and through that journey I experienced firsthand the incredible heart, dedication, and purpose behind AIM’s work. “Cafe Blob is such a special place in this neighborhood. It’s a café where people with special needs work together, and you can truly feel the warmth and kindness here. “I am extremely disappointed with AIM. The teachers are constantly changing, which creates no consistency for the kids. Their policies are designed to protect their profits, not families. I can’t believe they call themselves a non-profit when everything about their model feels the opposite. This organization claims to care about children’s mental health, but their actions prove otherwise. As soon as I find a new centre, I’ll be taking my son elsewhere. Do better if you truly care about the kids you serve. The teachers are good and it’s the only reason why I would stay but I do not appreciate how the management is running this centre.”Read moreShow less
