Organizations like this make a real difference in their communities. We’re grateful for the work they do and proud to support a team that leads with compassion, commitment, and heart.

Autism in Mind is an extraordinary place. As a parent, I’ve seen firsthand how hard it can be to find support that truly understands the needs of kids with autism. AIM does that and so much more. Their team brings so much care, compassion, and thoughtfulness to every program, and the impact on families is real and lasting. The community they’ve built is something special. From therapy and education to the sense of belonging they offer, AIM fills a gap that’s far too big in this province. Their commitment to creating meaningful support for families is unmatched, and I’m so grateful for everything they do. If you’re looking for a place that genuinely cares and shows up for families, AIM is exactly that.

This year, I had the honour of planning the Autism In Mind Gala, and through that journey I experienced firsthand the incredible heart, dedication, and purpose behind AIM’s work. Their commitment to supporting Autism children and families is truly inspiring. I also absolutely love their Blob Café, too. It’s warm, welcoming, and truly inclusive. I love that individuals with special needs are given meaningful opportunities here. The staff are kind, the atmosphere is so nice, and everything is delicious. Highly recommend!!

Cafe Blob is such a special place in this neighborhood. It’s a café where people with special needs work together, and you can truly feel the warmth and kindness here. The staff are always welcoming, the coffee tastes great, and the atmosphere is so positive. I love coming here and highly recommend it to everyone!

AIM always works hard for community support and awareness campaigns for autism community. I joined many events through friends and I see how much effort they put into work they do. We need more charities like this in our community.

I am extremely disappointed with AIM. The teachers are constantly changing, which creates no consistency for the kids. Their policies are designed to protect their profits, not families. I can’t believe they call themselves a non-profit when everything about their model feels the opposite. This organization claims to care about children’s mental health, but their actions prove otherwise. As soon as I find a new centre, I’ll be taking my son elsewhere. Do better if you truly care about the kids you serve. The teachers are good and it’s the only reason why I would stay but I do not appreciate how the management is running this centre.

I can’t say enough good things about AIM and the incredible support they’ve provided for my children and our family. From the very beginning, they’ve worked closely with me to understand my kids’ unique needs and challenges, offering personalized coaching and guidance that has made a real difference. Their team is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly committed to helping children thrive. Through their programs, my kids have gained valuable skills—social, emotional, and developmental—that have helped them grow in confidence and independence. AIM has also been a tremendous support to me as a parent, helping me navigate difficult situations with practical strategies and encouragement. It’s clear that AIM is deeply invested in the well-being and progress of every child and family they work with. I’m incredibly grateful for their partnership and highly recommend them to any parent looking for meaningful, effective support.

The changes in my lovely nephew's progress since starting AIM have been outstanding. He has made such positive growth in his motor skills and communication skills. And he's so excited to go to his therapy - It's the best part of his day! I'm grateful for how happy my sister and her husband are to see their beautiful son thrive and grow since starting AIM.  I can feel the relief they feel that the found a wonderful place that truely cares about their sons happiness, wellbeing and future.

Since October 2020, my daughter has been receiving Intensive Behavioural Intervention, Speech Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Psychological services. Through receiving these services, we have seen a tremendous positive changes in her, and couldn't be happier. She is more independent, more receptive to changes/new situations, able to regulate her emotions and is also a lot more social. She has also made great gains in her fine/gross motor skills and has made marked improvements in her writing and drawing skills. Overall, she is a happier and more confident child. I cannot thank the amazing professionals at AIM - they are so knowledgeable, friendly and I appreciate how they all collaborate in providing the best services for my child. AIM also offers small group learning. The environment is set up like school classroom and my daughter has enjoyed interacting with her peers, practicing turn taking, participating in circle time, and learning how to follow routines. I am grateful for these small group learning opportunities to help her prepare for Kindergarten. As we anticipate my daughter starting school for the first time this September, I can’t say how grateful I am to the staff at AIM. They have provided amazing programming and services, which have really made an impact on my child and my family. Autism in Mind is a great organization that truly seeks to better the lives of each individual that walks in through their doors. We would highly recommend this organization to others who are in need of Autism support services!
