“Steven Pauhl is hands down the best massage therapist I’ve ever seen. I came in with a serious shoulder injury from a SLAP lesion, and every single time I leave his sessions, my pain is completely gone. Working with him alongside the team at Ottawa ChiroHouse has made an incredible difference in my recovery. I honestly just wish I had found him sooner. What really sets him apart is that he’s also a professor, so he’s constantly learning, teaching, and staying up to date with the latest techniques. You can truly feel that expertise in his work. “Hashmeet is an excellent physiotherapist. As I do not have insurance he was very reasonable with his pricing. He was the fourth physio I engaged with pain. He took over an hour to perform in-depth diagnosis. First issue he noticed is I was walking improperly which contributed greatly to my pain. Once I started walking properly, my pain improved drastically. Next, he gave a comprehensive exercise routine with on-line instructions. At my follow up visits he worked with me and gave me more exercises. Within few of sessions my improvement is tremendous.”Read moreShow less

“I was in a lot of pain and very discouraged with a torn meniscus and moderate osteoarthritis arthritis in my one knee, then my other knee went due to my adjusting for the injured knee. Andrea is an angel! Immediately she put me at ease and gave me hope. She empowered me through education, explaining the process giving me the power I need to take back control. I left that first visit with hope. Since then Andrea and Meagan have been instrumental in my understanding of what is happening and in how to correct it. “Suffered a full patella tendor tear and the physio therapy service and care provided at Athlete Care Sport Medicine was integral to my recovery. “This is a joke as a physiotherapy place. I came in for post ACL surgery rehab and was shocked at the level of carelessness and complete lack of knowledge. First of all, they double-booked me with someone else with the same therapist at the same time by accident, so I had omly half the time. The physiotherapist seemed like she was disgusted with my knee post surgery, and hardly (if ever) touched it throughout the 30 min session. All she did was recommend some of the exercises from my doctor's protocol, which I gave her, and send me on my way. “I found Michael by surprise, never heard about his work before (Comprehensive Manual Therapist) but since he was the only person available in a clinic near where I live I gave it a try. I was told by other therapists that my problems did not have a permanent solution and if I started to feel a lot of pain just go to some massage but Michael literally gave me light at the end of the tunnel and increased my hopes to not feel constant pain. I could see improvements since my first consultation. He is THE BEST professional I ever saw my whole life (this includes professionals from 3 countries where I lived before). He is fixing all my shoulder/neck problems that all other professionals, chiropractors and other health professionals, could not fix). He is objective and tells you what is the best treatment, how he will do it and what exercises I have to do at home to support his treatment. “I have been receiving treatment from this incredible team for a few months now and I have had excellent experiences with each practitioner. The manual therapist, Michael Dinh, provides the most effective treatment I have received since my car accident in 2018. I’m new to Ottawa and so grateful to have found this place.
