“Due to heavyweight lifting at my workplace. I got back pain. It affected my daily life. So i visited athlete's care on recommendation of my sister. Environment was very welcome and comfortable. I didn't felt bored. Very nice place.”

“Disha is by far the best physiotherapist I have ever had, and I have had a lot. Not only is she incredibly kind and genuinely sweet, but she is also extremely knowledgeable and patient. Whenever I have a question, I am always met with an insightful answer that truly helps me understand my body and my pain better. She is also deeply compassionate and considerate toward every single one of her clients. When I’ve needed to see her urgently and she was fully booked (unsurprisingly, because she is the best), she has gone out of her way to adjust appointments when possible and always keeps me in mind if something opens up. She is also so, so passionate about what she does. She sees physiotherapy as both physical and therapy, and she really emphasizes that throughout every appointment. She understands how stress and daily tension can worsen pain and inflammation, and she helps her patients learn how to calm both the body and the nervous system. Being around her immediately puts you at ease because of her warmth, positivity, and reassuring presence. I truly do not say this lightly when I say she is the best physiotherapist, and honestly the best practitioner, I have ever had. I hope she will be my physiotherapist for as long as I need one. She is also the very first pelvic physiotherapist I have ever had. Before her, I had never even heard of pelvic physiotherapy. Going into my first appointment, I honestly expected Kegels and maybe a few breathing exercises. That was the extent of my understanding. I had no real idea of what pelvic physiotherapy actually involved. When Disha explained it to me, I was a bit surprised and honestly a little nervous, but she explained everything in such a calm, simple, and reassuring way that I immediately felt like I was in good hands. As she worked with the muscles in my pelvic floor, I started to realize just how much tension I was holding without even knowing it, and how closely that tightness was connected to the pain I had been feeling in my lower back, hips and glutes. I could actually feel things starting to release during the session, and for the first time in a long time, I felt real relief in those areas. Thank you Disha for everything that you do for your clients!”

“I saw Romy Bellosillo for a painful elbow/forearm issue that was affecting everyday use. My elbows hyperextend, and after repeatedly straining the area from an awkward position, using that arm normally was a real problem. I tried toughing it out for months, but after two sessions with Romy, I don’t even think about it anymore. It has now been over six months with no pain, and I can use the arm normally again. Really happy with the treatment and would definitely recommend Romy.”

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Chung Duong for 6 weeks to increase my strength, stability and confidence after tearing both of my MCLs. He was attentive, personable and I felt that he put a lot of care into my program. The exercises he provided felt curated to my ability and I always left our sessions feeling more confident than the last. I highly recommend Athlete's Care Sports Medicine Centre and Chung as they are dedicated to your recovery and they provide excellent service. The receptionists were always kind and welcoming as well!”

“There is a lot of good with this location; easy parking, convenient location, super friendly staff, and most importantly you get healed! The weirdest thing though is the 3 chairs in the waiting location, I have never experienced more uncomfortable chairs anywhere! I did not think chairs could be made this uncomfortable. It is weird because they look normal enough, but they are 2 minute chairs, I do not think you can sit longer than that without constantly shifting around lol. Just does not make sense that otherwise this place is so good, to have such uncomfortable chairs to greet a customer in need of healing.”

“Buyer Beware. Potential Shady Billing Practices Called for an appointment today to treat my shoulder. Was told that that it would be $129. When I wasnt able to book at 3pm today, I was told that I can see a doctor on Wednesday but it would be $149 to see a more senior doctor. When I further inquired about the different pricing I was told the more senior doctor charges more money cause they have more knowledge. Several issues with this, how do I know its a different doctor? Time on the job doesn't always equal better care, or more knowledge. This is illigal and I will be reporting this to CPSO.”

“I love going to this clinic for both chiropractic and physiotherapy sessions. Both Mikaela and Disha are amazing and such pros at what they do. I’ve been seeing Mikaela for chiropractic care for more than a year now. She takes good care of her clients. She listens intently, helps areas on the body that require support and gives suggested exercises that you can utilize and do yourself to help you improve on what you’re targeting for strength or pain relief. I always feel so much better after my session with her. Mikaela wants the very best for her clients and I feel that each time I see her. Disha is very passionate about pelvic floor therapy and self advocacy for women’s health. I saw Disha during my last trimester when I was pregnant. I continue to see her after I gave birth too. She has really supported my journey in terms of strengthening my pelvic floor, breath work and before and after I gave birth. She also takes very good care of her clients and I feel confident during and after our sessions together. She too is an active listener and she provides exercises for you to work on which helps a lot in strengthening your pelvic floor muscles or areas you want to target. I have learned so much from both these women and I continue to learn and improve with them. Again, they truly want the best for their clients. Thank you Mikaela and Disha, and thank you Mississauga Athlete’s Care!”

From the very first session, she was able to accurately identify the root of the problem and started me on a tailored treatment plan with gentle exercise. I felt noticeable relief almost immediately, which gave me so much hope. Over the course of 8 weeks, with consistent weekly sessions and her guidance, I made a full recovery and I am able to return to my normal lifestyle pain-free.
