An absolutely great place, because of the really great staff! Very accommodating and informative about what they were going to do before and during and after. I have had in grown toe nail problems a few times in my life. I know all too well, the pain and discomfort from them. The process of getting this last one fixed was very quick and as painless as possible. I have a thing with needles, so, the localized freezing was the only part that bothered me at all. And it was nothing. All in my head. Highly recommend for any foot or toe or ankle problems.

Like Eric I went in for Planter Wart removal. Initial consultation was done by phone and email and the issue being a planters wart was indicated. AFAC came highly recommended by a friend so I thought lets get this thing gone. I have been hobbling around for many weeks not really being able to work or do anything much actually so I was anxious to get rid of it. It has been so painful its changed the way I walk on my foot and actually extended painful cramps up my leg due to the change in my stance and gait. I now have issues with the sciatica nerve in my back maybe un-related or maybe as a result of how I'm walking. The appointment was set for ~ 10 weeks in the future and its actually my fault for not indicating that I needed quick response and please call me if there is any cancellations to get me in there more quickly. The appointment came and went with only a prescription for acid to apply myself at home and not really any concrete assurances that there is an end in site for this journey I'm on. Another error I made was not reading the google reviews to see Eric's poor review about a similar issue to mine. My recommendation for future customers is to consider somewhere else for planters wart issues. My recommendation for AFAC is to let people know who indicate they are interested in getting help with a planters wart to possible go somewhere else. The medication they prescribes is also not a good idea if you have any kidney issues like I do so you should be tested for kidney problems before using the Aktikerall.

So I had a really painful ingrown nail and a story about what I've tried and how I waited to get it fixed... I've had it since October, it's March now. I was too scared (for months) to deal with it due to 1), pain, 2), worry about more pain dealing with it, and 3), I was worried I'd be judged. I went to a foot nurse in town originally a couple of weeks ago, she was able to get some of it but not all - I also wasn't able to be frozen during that visit (I don't know if she just wasn't qualified/allowed to freeze her clients) and I cried in the chair for half an hour or more, it was extremely painful. I just couldn't go back there and do it again, so I decided to see a podiatrist to be frozen. So I came here to Ashburnham Foot & Ankle after calling to make sure they could freeze me. Upon entering, it's clean and spacious, I added a few pictures. I saw Caitlin, I explain what happened before and she decided she would freeze me. I was resistant to the freezing (we tried to freeze me twice) but I got somewhat frozen - Which was better than no freezing! And she removed the nail. After all was done, she said I didn't even need to follow up, that's it, I was done! Very happy to hear that. It was mostly tolerable, it was still painful as I didn't fully freeze but it was much better than it would have been without it. Very thankful to her for helping me. All the dread is gone now. I definitely recommend going here. To anyone feeling shame about their issues, don't. Just go, get it fixed. You'll be happy you did. Only cost me $85, too. I don't know why, but I expected it to be more. So thanks again. Will recommend to others.

AFAC is an excellent clinic!!! I have been going there for a couple of years. I have Caitlin right now, and she is AMAZING!! She is working wonders with my feet - a real FEAT lol - and I’m super grateful!! Caitlin is extremely skilled, and she’s helping me now with a painful heel condition. Nicole in administration is always wonderful too - very skilled and efficient. When I need to make changes to my appointments, she is always really great and gets it all sorted for me, and she always gets it right! I would highly recommend this clinic!! Thank you AFAC!! 😊

I am extremely pleased with the level of professionalism at Ashburnham Foot and Ankle Centre. I was in a lot of pain from plantar fasciitis and I had the low level laser treatment. I have seen a huge improvement and received some excellent advice. I would most certainly recommend them to anyone.

I brought my 90 year old Mother here for a first appointment, and it went so well. Everyone was friendly and professional. My Mother was very nervous and Karen put her at ease right away. The cause and solution were explained clearly, in layperson’s terms. I’m so grateful to everyone for making this appointment easy. We will definitely be back.

A great experience! Every member of staff that I interacted with was very friendly, kind, and courteous. Sarah was pleasant and answered all of my questions and concerns. COVID 19 measures were in place and everything was very clean and safe. I would definitely go back for further treatment!

Does not recommend
Took my daughter here who is only just over two, was advised that she needed foot orthotics, when we came in to do the casting, Dr Peter came into the room to starting the casting, he had no patience’s with her, he only tried to maybe 3 mins than threw his gloves on the floor saying he was done, asking me what is wrong with her why is she acting like this (crying and being upset) because she wasn’t sure what was going on... than we were to come back in six months or so. Than told me I needed to PAY for the 5 mins we were in his office. I WOULD NOT recommend this place.

Nothing but incredibly positive experiences at Ashburnham Foot and Ankle Clinic. Last time I was in, it was because I developed terrible heel pain the day before I was supposed to play in a softball tournament and Sarah squeezed me in on only a few hours notice, gave me a fabulous therapeutic ultrasound, and taped my foot so I could safely play. Pete and Kathy also made my last pair of orthotics, which are still going strong after a number of years, and then trimmed them down for me a few years after making them so I could wear them in slimmer, more fashionable shoes. These people really care and I can't recommend them enough!
