I’ve been seeing Nicole for a few years for my knee osteoarthritis, and the treatments have really helped me manage my pain and stay active. I also appreciate the exercises and advice that make it easier to take care of myself between visits. Her expertise and attention to detail really stood out — she took the time to understand my issues and tailored a treatment plan that actually works. After just a few sessions, my pain has significantly decreased, and my mobility has improved so much. Nicole is always welcoming and supportive. I’d definitely recommend Nicole to anyone looking for quality care!

I highly recommend Nicole - she is extremely well skilled at determining what the issue is (including the root cause) and then setting out a course of treatment - both treatment sessions with her and, very importantly, the work (eg stretches, exercises etc) you need to do to get better - and stay that way! Again - highly recommended and thanks Nicole!

Life changing, that’s all I can say. I had such bad back pain (from a car accident and from doing way too many crunches that didn’t even produce a six pack!); it got to the point where I couldn’t sit - I’d have to lay down on my stomach to work on my laptop. I tried physio and other chiros with little relief. My doc told me chronic back pain is just part of getting older; one physio told me I may have a cyst that’s causing the pain. Basically, they couldn’t figure it out. I went to see Ceara on the recommendation of my partner. Ceara calmly assessed me and worked on my lower body gently - like she knew exactly what was going on with my body, and fixing it was no big deal. I went home telling my partner she didn’t do much and it’s not going to help. Over the next couple days though the pain was gone - I was playing dodgeball (dodging, ducking, diving, dipping, and dodging 😂), softball, and working out within a week! I’ve since been going back to Ceara for adjustments and whenever I have a flare-up from doing something stupid for 10 years now. I make the drive into Toronto (1.5 hours!) just for a 30min appt with her. She’s super knowledgeable and will fix you right up; I’ve recommended her to many. Nicole is also great 🙂. Definitely the best chiro spot in the city/the GTA.

Dr. Nicole Ballantyne provides amazing chiropractic care. The environment is great and everyone at Ashbridges is warm and welcoming. Nicole listens to my concerns and takes a comprehensive approach to addressing the problem areas which typically includes soft tissue work before and after adjustments, acupuncture and exercises.

Started seeing Nicole during Covid when I was dealing with some horrible pain. I’d been to chiropractor before and found that it was very “crack and go,” but Nicole was kind, listened and offered treatment that really helped with the pain. She also gave me stretches and exercises to do at home that helped as well. I still see her regularly for tune ups. She is definitely my go to recommendation!

I just don’t have enough good words for Emily and Ceara both - I couldn’t possibly recommend them enough. As a fellow health care practitioner, I’m always impressed with the depth and breath of their knowledge and training and regularly refer my own clients to them when they need bodywork. As a client, I’ve had loads of experience with their incredible knowledge and ability and empathy and have benefited hugely myself - not just physically, but also mentally and emotionally from their care. And yet I’m still routinely blown away by just how thoughtful and comprehensive their approach always is. Quick to reference recent research, constantly engaging in professional development, modeling positive and supportive language, and always asking questions that show their commitment to treating the whole person as an individual - both these practitioners take great pride at being as current and caring as possible. I never feel like I’m being pushed out the door; they regularly get me to check in with my body and will go back if anything needs a little more attention. I’m always sent home with things I can do to extend the benefits of the care I’ve received, and I swear they’re trying to work themselves out of a job, forever helping me find ways to be proactive on my own! If you want top tier care and want to feel heard and supported in every aspect of your health and wellbeing, go see Emily Howell or Ceara Higgins. They’re so worth it.

Was so impressed with my massage from Pamela. She listened to my concerns and addressed them accordingly. She applied the perfect amount of pressure, not too much or too little. She used some cool techniques that I had never had before. Such a great experience, I highly recommend Pamela!

I had a very skilled RMT session with Pamela Modopoulous. She is incredibly detailed and specific, having addressed all 3 areas of concern I came in with. I immediately felt better and can't wait for another session .mentions Pamela Modopoulos →

I was hesitant to go in because I’ve been having a back flare up that comes and goes.. so I literally went in and had to say “well I’m fine right now, but sometimes I’m not..” Dr. Nicole Ballantyne found the problem spot immediately and so precisely, even when I couldn’t tell her exactly where it was. She then did soft tissue work before the adjustment, which I’ve rarely experienced at a Chiropractor, and then sent me off with very targeted exercises that I could feel the benefit of right away. I’m so happy I found this place, I’d 100% recommend it and go again.

Dr. Emily Howell is amazing, she fixed my back pain in 3 sessions and her exercise program work well for me. I also recommend seeing Jackie for the massage, she is really good in relieving tight, angry muscle.mentions Dr. Emily Howell →
