About the clinic

A key design philosophy for our spacious 5,000 square foot Aroma Day Spa Markham was to create a destination that goes beyond just the services provided – to create a relaxing environment where customers always feel welcome. We never want to rush you in or out the door so we created a large lounge area where you can sit and chat with friend’s over tea before or after treatment. “I emailed the spa twice with no response about my experience so I have no choice to leave a review. I have been a client since 2021. I came in for a massage with reflexology. The masseuse fell asleep during the service; multiple times. At first, I was worried she was having a medical episode but she quickly woke up and dozed off 3 more times during my foot massage. When it came time for the back massage, as I was faced down and could feel that she continued to stop massaging from (ranging from 20 seconds to a full minute) with hands still on me but motionless then she would snap back and wake up. My main concern is not about the service but my first thought is maybe the workers are being overworked with long hours. Secondly, I do feel I paid for a service that was not full at all and extremely awkward. Because the entire experience and no response from management after 2 emails sent, I do not plan to return to your spa for future services. ****Updating my review in response to Aroma’s reply that perhaps I emailed the “incorrect” email address and that they had called me. Attaching the photos here showing that I emailed the correct email address months ago on May 18 and May 23 and the 1 attempt they made to call me 35 minutes ago on August 8th. Please don’t patronize me and take some accountability. ****”

“Absolutely loved my experience! My nail tech was so patient, listened carefully to what I wanted, and really took the time to fix issues with my nails instead of rushing through the appointment. You can tell they genuinely care about their work and making sure clients leave happy. My nails turned out beautiful, and I really appreciated the attention to detail and professionalism. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“We used a gift card given to us and had a couples 60 min massage and it was great! The place is so spacious & clean and offers a variety of services and packages. Amy did my massage and it was so relaxing, good pressure and techniques and I felt great afterwards. Staff were friendly and the rooms were nice. Highly recommend trying out this day spa and I will be back to try other services offered as well!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Aroma Spa in Markham. I’ve been coming here regularly (about once a month), and every visit is consistently amazing. From deep tissue massages to gel manicures, and especially their facials—everything is done with such care and professionalism. The staff are incredibly skilled, welcoming, and attentive, and you can tell they genuinely care about their clients’ experience. They also always have great monthly deals, which makes it even better value for the level of service you receive. Honestly, there’s no other place I’d go. The combination of quality, pricing, and overall experience is truly 10/10. Highly recommend”

“I visited Roma Day Spa today and had such a wonderful experience! Mon did my nails, and she was absolutely amazing. She helped me choose the perfect color and did such beautiful nail art.I was honestly so impressed with her work. I also had a facial with Kiki, and it was incredible. The facial itself, along with the face, shoulder, and neck massage, was so relaxing. I felt completely stress-free and even forgot where I was for a while—that’s how calming it was! Overall, the service was excellent, and I highly recommend this place. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had!”

“💅 I just have to rave about this incredible nail salon! The entire experience, from the moment I walked in until I left, was flawless. First of all, the environment is super clean and comfortable, decorated in a trendy, Instagram-worthy style. Even waiting was enjoyable because the place is so photogenic. The nail technician was super sweet and had a great attitude. She patiently listened to my ideas and gave me professional advice based on my nail shape and skin tone. The design I chose was a bit intricate, but the technician's skills were absolutely incredible! She was so meticulous and patient, carefully crafting every single detail without any rush. There wasn't a hint of carelessness throughout the whole process. The final result turned out to be a hundred times better than I had imagined! My friends couldn't stop asking me which salon did my nails. The products used were also high-quality—the color is vibrant and the shine is amazing. The key point is that the price is very reasonable, completely justified for this level of skill and service. I've already recommended this place to all my close girlfriends without hesitation. From now on, this is my go-to spot for manicures! It's a true hidden gem, and I sincerely recommend it to every girl who loves beauty!”

“I recently visited this spa with another female and we opted for their Summer Package featuring six treatments, as promoted on their website. Upon arrival, we were welcomed into a bright and spacious lobby that immediately gave off a calming, clean vibe. The receptionist checked us in quickly. We shared a private room, which was clean and comfortable. The massage tables were cozy, which added to the relaxation. Our treatment began with a body scrub, starting from the back area, arms, and the back of the legs. While it felt refreshing, I was a bit disappointed that they skipped the front of the legs, which would’ve completed the experience more evenly. Next came a neck and shoulder massage, which the package stated would be 10 minutes, but it felt much shorter—definitely under 5 minutes. This was a letdown, especially since it was one of the treatments I was most looking forward to. The third treatment was a lymphatic massage. It was my first time trying this and I found it to be quite painful, though I understand it’s supposed to be beneficial for the body. My friend had a very different reaction—she couldn’t stop laughing because she found it ticklish! It was definitely an experience. The facial followed and was nice. They applied good-quality products, performed manual extractions around the nose area, and then left a mask on for about 10 minutes. While the mask set, they placed collagen gloves and socks on my hands and feet. Afterward, they rinsed everything off by wiping, and I did feel noticeably soft. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable experience, especially to share with a friend or partner. The price was decent for the promotional offer. However, I do feel it's worth noting that the entire treatment lasted about 2 hours and 20 minutes, not the full 2 hours and 50 minutes as advertised, so possibly some treatments were rushed or did not spend enough time. Also, the neck and shoulder massage felt too brief to be counted as a full treatment. I’d recommend it if you're looking to try something new with a friend, but I likely wouldn’t return at full price. The package is good value with a promo, but there’s room for improvement in delivering what’s promised.”
