“Dr Buckley was great to deal with and did an excellent job on my extraction. Very little pain or swelling. My one piece of advice is to be aware that pre surgery instructions may be different to your post surgery instructions, so ensure you/your accompanying person clarifies the difference. For example, I was told pre that there'd be a prescription sent to my pharmacy for 3 things. Somewhere along the way that info changed and there were no prescriptions required. We spent time calling my pharmacy and nurses at Argyle to get clarification. Me being worried that I should be taking something that was no longer needed.”

“Amazing surgeon! Outstanding nurses and staff! Had 2 molars extracted and then a bone graft. Was petrified going in but after this experience I have no problem recommending these experts. Appreciate Dr. Irvine's sense of humour, bedside manner and incredible skill. Did not feel a thing! His nurse (her name escapes me, apologies) was caring, attentive and calming. Am healing nicely. Thank you all.”

“My first experience with Argyle dates back to 1986 when I had two wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Amos. 40 years later, I had my second experience, and this time with Dr. Irvine. I was an anxious patient in 1986 and continue to be one today! Special thank you to Dr. Irvine, nurse Jen and the rest of the team who took such great care of me yesterday. It's been less than 24 hours since my extraction and I am feeling pretty darn good! Based on my personal experience, Argyle's oral surgeons, nurses and rest of staff are excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend Argyle to others. I have one wisdom tooth left, and if I ever have to get that one extracted, I know who I will call! Thank you again!”

“I personally want to thank everyone here. I came in for my wisdom teeth removal feeling quite nervous, but the staff and overall environment were outstanding. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the entire experience much more comfortable. I had the pleasure of having Dr. Irvine perform my surgery, and it’s clear that he takes great pride in his work. He was professional, reassuring, and made me feel confident that I was in good hands. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Highly recommended!”

“We visited Argyle Associates Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery - Barrhaven as part of an educational event for dental clinic staff, and it was a very positive experience. The team was professional, careful, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The clinic itself is modern, clean, and very well organized, with comfortable treatment rooms and advanced equipment. What especially stood out was the attention to patient care — including clear explanations about prescriptions, post-operative instructions, and recovery support. You can really feel that the staff care about both patient comfort and safety. A great example of a well-run oral surgery practice in Ottawa.”

“Extremely professional and caring. I am a total coward where dental work is concerned and was quite anxious about the sedation (first time) and extraction. Dr. Butterfield did an amazing job and only did what needed to be done (huge plus when on a budget). All of the staff were kind and polite. Highly recommend.”

“I can’t say enough positive things about my experience following maxillofacial surgery at Argyle Associates Oral& Maxillofacial Surgery in Barrhaven. Going into tue sugery, I was understandably nervous, but from start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The surgical team was exceptional. Dr. Irvine and his nurse Jen were professional, reassuring, and genuinely compassionate. They both took the time to explain every step, which immediately put me at ease. On the day of the procedure, everything felt seamless. What surprised me most was how quick and smooth it all seemed. I was in recovery before I even had time to feel anxious.
