“I tried to contact them because my long lost mother has been using their services. They refuse to answer or help. I was using their services and had a worker, then once they found out who my mother was they started dropping and ignoring me. They seperated us on purpose and caused more issues. “They never answer the phone no matter what time of day it is...When I finally got in contact with someone to help me move, Chelsea ruined everything for me. Story: I called weeks prior to schedule the movers and she said the date and time and confirmed in email as well. Then the day of my move, they didn't show up and she called me to tell me she never booked it hence why I paid $1000 last minute to get my stuff over the next day. I filled out the entire application as well only to be told that I don't qualify for anything because I don't have a disability and I'm not an old time client. (I've been a client for over 5 years and had help moving before so I don't get the issue?). I asked for an exception and for a refund but she said she couldn't help me. TLDR: Chelsea screwed me over with my move and I paid $1000. Don't even bother with these people to help you with housing. I'm going to tell my Reserve this establishment does not help native people and they are a FRAUD.”Read moreShow less

“As a native. Ive been waiting WEEKS on these folks to help me get back on my feet but I had to go elsewhere just because im starting school in September and I really need help. I found counseling at a two spirits group for natives. I have a new case manager. I had BAD FEET both of them and I have an ingrown toenail. I found a foot doctor on Bay Street when I asked anishnawbe I really needed to see someone. BUT NOOO, they keep me waiting, waiting and waiting still nothing. They are taking too long to get back to some people but I noticed there are other people that they WILL get back to in an instant like as if they are the golden people of nishnawbe health. I wanted to get help for depression and anxiety and I told them that on the phone. Email even in person. STILL NOTHING!!!!! I had to go elsewhere for mu services and im starting school soon and I want to be prepared. Im sad of the new location, its soo far now from downtown and sometimes hard to get to because I hardly see buses going on front street and im always WALKING!!! I MISS THE OLD LOCATIONS AND WORKERS!!! They cared about me in 2016-2019 but aftet covid started, it ruined EVERYTHING and now these new people are RUINING MY PLAN to get BETTER! THEY DONT CARE UNLESS YOU HURT THEIR SCRAWNY LITTLE FEELINGS! THEY WILL CLOSE YOU DOWN!”Read moreShow less

The hub is more accessible than the old locations was for me and I have all my providers in one spot which makes it easier. “I was introduced to AHToronto through my cousin. The Gifted team of AHT has helped me on my Healing journey. From day1 and feet hitting the ground,my first ? to Olga Gale (Psychology)was how do I fix this. And was given open opprotunity to be & feel safe to reach deep within to find the sources to my mental health concerns. And dug deep I did. From Kali (Physio)helping me with my physical issues due to a MVA with clear and open dialoge to seek the exercise program as well as internal medicine from within She is a gem. (Spritiual Healer) "Uncle" Peter Wynn who gave me My Spirit name Strong Medicine Woman that helped to land my feet securley on my path and holds a special place in my heart. to Mr Adrian RN who has been open to all of my concerns with Honor, Dignity and My Atonomy Fully intact.Miss Laura-lee( Housing services) afro-indeginous are tribe to and you skill set demonstrates this. Miss Lesley (case manager)who is backing me behind my concerns. No More sisters to be harmed nor harrassed on sovern lands.And conversations with Chris Pike(Two spirit) and even though I am not still welcomed me in conversations that have left both of us howling in laughter. ( grateful you remember). This is the mission Through all who have supported me. Anytime you need me I'm here no questions asked. Because being grateful needs to be backed with action.
