“I have come to Amavi for the past six months now and I have the utmost respect, compassion, and love for this place, maintained by incredible women. I have had the pleasure of meeting and being treated by all of them, Malika, Alexis, and Kennedy. They all have their own unique persona's and styles, with a beautiful passion for everything they do. Malika is incredibly kind and calm, very invested in the wellbeing and approaching life through a holistic and realistic lens. I always look forward to our sessions of Facial and Body acupuncture. She sprinkles some extra exciting stuff always like the oxygen dome and face mask. After I get facial acupuncture done, my skin be glowin!! After body acupuncture, I find the stagnated energy in my body especially for someone with PMDD always finds its way out after a session with Malika and I feel refreshed and ready to take on life one step at a time. I highly recommend considering acupuncture with Malika if you do deal with PMDD and mental health issues, it really helps open your body and feel free (sometimes through crying, but it's a refreshing cry!). Alexis is super bubbly, she is very meticulous and personalized when it comes to how she approaches brows and she really wants to encourage maintaining the natural shape of the brow which is perfect for me, for religious and personal reasons. Her magic wand is her flick with her wrist and in 30 minutes, I am out and about with well groomed and clean brows! Kennedy is super fun to talk to and she really considers everything you need and works best for you. I had a well needed Nervous System reset with and it was awesome. “I had an amazing experience at this wellness spa! I booked a dermaplaning facial, which included a deep cleanse, hydrating mask, serum, and moisturizer. My skin felt absolutely incredible afterward, so smooth, hydrated, and glowing! Alexis was wonderful. She was warm, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire treatment. She took the time to assess my skin, explain everything she was doing, and provide personalized recommendations, which I really appreciated. “Hands down the best facial I have had. From the time I entered this beautiful, esthetically pleasing & divinely smelling space to the end of my facial, I was unexpectedly amazed & impressed with the services. Malika the owner has seamlessly integrated ancient Chinese medicine with esthetician services. Alexis my esthetician was super helpful, gave me advice & treated me like a queen. “I came here for a 90 minute integrated deep tissue massage last weekend and I saw Kennedy K and WOW! I am so happy with the results so far. She started the massage by asking me some questions so she could get a better idea of what I was there for. She really seemed like she cared about why I was there. The start of my massage was Kennedy pressing and feeling my limbs and back to get a better idea of my anatomy and some obvious problem areas. Then the massage began! I have never had my knots assessed and worked on. I had SO much that needed to be worked out. My body has responded to her work so well so far and I look forward to seeing her again for maintenance and eventually more for joy and relaxation! “Just got a massage from Riley and it was the best massage of my life. She was so attentive to what my body needed and I’ve never felt so much tension release after one session. She was also mindful to use a different face oil for my jaw massage which I appreciated as I have sensitive skin.
