“I had a wonderful experience at this location, starting with the receptionist, who stay with me on the phone making sure I could find the place. My hygienist was absolutely wonderful, nice and explained to me every step and always checking on me to make sure I was fine and comfortable. “Update: the owner reached out to me about my the initial miscommunication and misunderstanding so I am giving this place another chance and will provide updates. I booked a consult for a rejected implant. Why would they have booked a dentist instead of an implant/surgeon? When I arrived, I explained again why I was there and they said oh well you can see a dentist today and the implant specialist on Friday. Immediately I recommended to wait for the specialist because I was there for an implant consult. I explained that I was not there for any dental procedures or check ups. They insisted that I see both and proceeded to check my teeth for about five minutes. When we get to the front to book the specialist appointment, they present me with a bill and tell me that I need to pay upfront. “I hate the dentist. The noises, the lights.. this is the most anxiety ridden place BUT Dr Banerjee and Dr Engelberg are magical humans. They genuinely care about your overall wellbeing and experience and go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and healthy and your anxiety as at the bare minimum possible. The attention to detail is unheard of and I have never experience this before from any medical professional let alone at the dentist. They are rare humans to come across who genuinely are exceptionally gifted at their jobs AND the most caring people. These 2 doctors have changed my life forever in the most positive way. “I don’t recommend this place. When I booked my appointment, I was told that with full coverage under my Endurance insurance, I would not need to pay anything, or that any payment would be minimal. Before starting the treatment, I specifically asked again if my insurance covered 100%, and I was told yes. However, after the treatment was completed, I was informed that I needed to pay. This was unexpected and disappointing, as the information I received before the treatment was inconsistent with what I was told afterward.”Read moreShow less

“I’ve been a patient at Altima Dental for over five years now, and I can’t say enough good things—especially about my dental hygienist, Alison Brown. Alison is truly exceptional. She’s incredibly caring, gentle, and genuinely passionate about what she does. From the moment I started seeing her, she took the time to understand my unique concerns, especially my tendency to get canker sores after dental work. Cleanings used to leave me anxious about the aftermath, but with Alison, that worry is completely gone. She’s so meticulous and careful with my gums that I haven’t had a single flare-up since switching to her care. On top of that, she’s constantly teaching me new, evidence-based oral hygiene tips that I’ve never heard from anyone else. You can really tell she stays up to date with the latest in dental health, and she explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand and actually helps me maintain better habits at home. “Dr. Connors set me up with Invisalign braces in July 2017. They got my teeth 95% aligned but, unfortunately during the pandemic, service level slipped. I had to fine-tune and finish my treatment with a different clinic.”
