She takes the time to really listen, explain what’s going on, and tailor treatments that make a noticeable difference. What stands out most is her combination of skill and genuine compassion. “I have been going to Alta for about 4 months now. I have been utilizing the Mommy and me classes; Baby Barre, baby Pilates, and Stroller fit. I have loved meeting the instructor Brigitte, who has created an inclusive, energetic and supportive space for moms of all size on their movement journey. Brigitte always bring the love and support to each mommy, she loves seeing the babies come in, and offers lots of reassurance it’s a safe space for you to stop and do what you need for your little one. They have a space for you to leave and breast feed if you would like to, or stay where you are. The groups aren’t just about working out and moving, Brigitte’s classes cultivate community, sharing and support from other moms, both new and moms with only one or multiple children. As someone who is not familiar with Sarnia, it was an amazing way to meet new moms on a similar journey with similarly aged children. I would be remiss if I didn’t touch on the fact Brigitte is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable, she offers up MANY different variations of workout positions for anyone on the journey of postpartum. She also is such a cheerleader, when we are all sweating thinking I can’t do anymore calf raiser or squats, Brigitte encourages you to push yourself, but also listen to your body.
