I love this location. I recognized the name from their location at UBC but this one is convenient and still has the open layout that makes it feel more like a rehab place than a hospital. I came in with a running injury and Midori Lam kept me running and, after some dry needling, massage, stretching, lacrosse ball rolling, exercises... I'm pain free a few months later. I highly recommend her! She's straightforward and friendly.

Everyone working there does an excellent job. They are very knowledgeable and have helped me heal from injuries over the years. I am very thankful! :)))

I cannot recommend Thomas Scarr enough. He is incredibly kind, genuine, and down-to-earth. He’s also very thorough, highly communicative, and clearly intentional about his work. PLUS he offers dry needling (!!!) and really takes the time to explain what he’s doing and why. I had been seeing a different physio for three years, and when they moved away I honestly panicked - especially after re-tweaking my back injury. I found this clinic and chose Thomas after reading his bio, and I’m soooo glad I did. He truly makes every minute of the session count, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. If you’re looking for a sign to book - this is it. Highly recommend.

Wow. What a brilliant business model — punish the people who actually supported you before. I booked an appointment after almost ten years for a completely new injury, and was told that because I’ve been here once in the past, I get to pay $50 more for the same service. So just to be clear: if you’ve never trusted this clinic with your health, you get a discount. But if you did — if you actually came here before, healed here, and came back — they charge you extra. That’s not healthcare, that’s greed dressed up in scrubs. This place used to be about helping people. Now it feels like it’s run by accountants, not physiotherapists. If this is how you treat returning clients, I can only imagine how you treat new ones once you’ve got their money. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere — somewhere that still remembers that healthcare is supposed to be about care.

I had a mixed experience. From one side, the Customer Service experience and the attitude of all the folks was very kind. However, we started my session 7 minutes late and we ended at six minutes earlier. During the session we talked about the Canucks game for 10 minutes small talk. It felt rushed. I understand these professionals have to see a lot of people on daily basis to make the kind of living that the city requires, but it didn’t feel like a well spent $145. I felt like another number on the schedule.

I recently visited Allan McGavin Sports Medicine Clinic Physiotherapy Center and had the pleasure of being treated by Danna. I went in with a swollen knee that my doctor referred me to address, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I received. Danna was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, taking the time to assess my condition thoroughly. She provided me with various exercises aimed at stabilizing my knee dynamically, which has made a noticeable difference in my recovery. Her expertise was evident, and I felt confident in her approach. If you're looking for a skilled physiotherapist who truly cares about her patients, I highly recommend Danna at Allan McGavin Sports Medicine Clinic Physiotherapy Center. Thanks to her, I'm on the road to recovery!

I recently worked with Alex Carrod through a pretty significant shoulder injury that limited most of my mobility in my arm. During my time with Alex, I made significant progress in my recovery and have since been able to return to sport. Alex was exceptionally knowledgeable in answering any questions I had, patient, and thorough in the treatments during our sessions and the exercise routine he devised. This was my first experience with physiotherapy and Alex was able to make the sessions very comfortable and dissipated any worries I might have had. I highly recommend Alex for anyone in need of physio.

I recently worked with Alex Carrod on knee recovery due to an ACL injury. From the very beginning, I knew I was in good hands, as Alex's expertise and dedication shone through every step of the way. His tailored treatment plan and motivating attitude challenged me appropriately while avoiding overwhelm. He has the ability to create a warm, welcoming environment that makes rehab more enjoyable. I'm very happy with the results after 4 months of working together. My knee has gained much more strength and stability. I highly recommend Alex to anyone seeking physiotherapy.

I started working with Alex almost a year ago, after a ski injury was misdiagnosed for weeks and I had lost most of the mobility in my left shoulder. I was exhausted, discouraged, and in a lot of pain. Alex assessed my injury, started working with me immediately, and within that first visit I was already feeling more positive and more confident. Within 6 months, I was stronger than before my injury and more importantly, loving being back at the gym. Alex keeps me motivated and challenges me. He's super knowledgeable, thorough and professional. We even manage a few laughs at those 7am appointments. I would highly recommend him.
