“I saw Diana Zhang on the advice of a good and respected friend who had seen her after my friend's partner died. She saw Diana once and recounted a good experience. I went to Diana when my health was very poor and when I was in a very fragile state, dealing with excess heat in my body (burning sensations), liver congestion, and other issues I didn't fully understand. Sadly, her treatments made me much worse. Diana treated me for 3 hours at a time (3 times per week), which depleted me further and more than when I started going to her, worsening my health. Importantly, needling someone for 3 hours is not standard practice within TCM, not in China or Taiwan, not in the West, not anywhere. I learned from other TCM doctors that Diana has a history of over-treating patients, which is unfortunate. In the end, I spent about $2,500 (over a month) and ended up far worse than when I started seeing her as a client. I've worked in the social work and mental health sectors for years and I can't imagine taking money from someone if my health treatments are making them more ill. Sadly, I have come across several doctors who do do this. I felt totally taken advantage of by the end of trying to get help from her. On the positive side, I appreciate Diana as a person (her kindness; love for animals; etc.) and also appreciated all of our conversations when I went to her. But I would be really careful about how long treatment sessions are with her and whether treatments are improving or worsening your health.”
