“I was a student here in the mid 2010s. One day, my "IT teacher" kicked me and a friend out of class and threatened to press charges for falsely accusing us of plagiarism because of his incompetence. If you're looking for a good education, like I was, and paid 5 figures to get, I advise looking elsewhere. I was never given a refund and just recently finished off paying OSAP. Going to Algonquin College was a huge mistake.”

“Algonquin College needs to improve academic support, guidance, and clear expectations for students. Many instructors create a stressful learning environment with little or no supportive feedback, making it difficult for students to succeed. The lecturers do not show any iota of respect to the students The grading system, particularly the "0" for late assignments policy, should be reviewed, especially for international students adjusting to the system. Assignments should be achievable, not impossible tasks with punitive measures for situations beyond the student's control. I hope the college considers these concerns to foster a more supportive and fair learning experience for all students.”
