“Shari and her team were wonderful! Shari worked with our 3 year old for about a year and the progress was immediate and consistent. Shari has fun games, worksheets for home, tricks for parents and more. She was patient, friendly and the results literally spoke for themselves! Our child has exceeded her goals, is pronouncing sounds a year past her age level, and is now ‘graduated’… but has asked to visit Teacher Shari when we’re in Steveston. “We're so glad we found Shari Linde and Advantage SLP - they've been instrumental in helping our son overcome a speech delay and become a talkative two year old over the last 6 months. We had noticed that our son was showing a delay in his speech and gave him till his 2nd birthday before starting SLP support. We found Shari through a search of practitioners who use the “It Takes Two To Talk” Hanen program of speech coaching. The support and coaching we received from Shari took what could have been a very stressful time and made it all easier. Through our time with Shari our son has become “a talker” and is now using basic sentences to express himself. The goals from each session were both fitting and manageable. Shari was so considerate of our needs and our son absolutely loved seeing her; he would wake up excited on SLP days knowing he was going to get to “play with Shari.” We highly recommend Shari if you are looking for a supportive personal experience with your child’s SLP support. “Our family engaged Sheri Linde and her team to help first with my now 13 year old and later my 5 year old to administer an independent SLP assessment. Both girls have a genetic issue that affected their speech severely. Sheri and her practice were highly recommended by several private-sector clinical therapists and educators as having the skills to assess, diagnose and treat my children. After her assessment she agreed to take on the girls. And the rest is history... Both girls have beautiful control over their language and are able to communicate and contribute at school and in their social life. Our youngest went from no speech at all to beautiful articulate conversations. We received amazing services from Sheri as well as her team. We found her team to be very skilled and enthusiastic. “Dealing with Shari and various staff, has always been an easy process. My child loved going to her sessions and the patient, kind approach worked extremely well. “We have worked with Shari for 2+ years. My daughter started with her at age 3 when she was diagnosed with a significant language delay. Shari has been loving, kind, patient and yet very professional. The progress our daughter has made is astounding. Recently she was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Shari has been a huge support and an amazing resource for us in that regard. Our 8 yr old son has met with Shari briefly and now meets with Emily for sound errors. She's very professional and yet so much fun that he looks forward to his appointments! We've been impressed with his progress since starting with her.
