“The staff at admirals have usually been wonderful but I was upset at my experience with them when I overheard a conversation being made especially when young kids were there. I was waiting to pick up my grandmother from her appointment and the discussions I overheard were extremely inappropriate and disappointing to hear. I felt very uncomfortable when I overheard a staff member discussing their sexual orientation in public while making comments about which patients they found attractive. I'm not a patient here myself but i would not recommend this clinic to any of my friends or family. I wasn't planning on writing a review but honestly this encounter rubbed me the wrong way, especially due to the fact this conversation was taken place around children! I'm very upset with my visit and will not be recommending this place. Patients should feel respected, cared about, and prioritized. Unfortunately none of these were taken into consideration. I feel discouraged bringing my grandmother here. I honestly wonder what kind of inappropriate conversations continued around my grandmother, when I wasn't with her. “Dr. Dennis, Zoe and the entire Admirals Walk team are absolutely amazing! I have never walked out of an eye exam feeling so confident about my prescription. Dr Dennis took the time to help me understand my eye health and awnser any questions I had. The front team were super kind and welcoming. The frame collection being majority Canadian made it easy to find a great pair with that extra bouns of supporting local. “I had my first experience with Admirals Walk Optometry recently with Dr. Darcy Dennis. Both Dr. Dennis and the staff were extremely friendly, attentive to my needs and very accommodating. I've been to many Optometrists over the years as I have decent vision and have never required glasses however something just didn't feel quite right. They have assessment tools that are far superior to any other place I've used in the past and helped me address the problem that's been bothering me for many years through their thorough assessment. Overall an excellent experience and I'm now working on booking the rest of the family in for all of their optometry needs. “I had a fantastic experience at Admiral's Walk Optometry. Dr. Darcy was incredibly thorough, professional, and made the entire eye exam process comfortable and easy to understand. She took the time to explain everything clearly, from the findings to the lens options. I never felt rushed, which is a huge plus. The entire staff was also very friendly and helpful with choosing frames. “I felt very taken care of from start to finish at Admiral’s Walk Optometry. My appointment started right on time (always appreciated!) and was thorough. The team made things so easy by handling the benefits paperwork for me, and they were incredibly supportive in helping me pick out glasses that looked great while staying within my budget.
