“I have been diagnosed with Diabetes for approximately 20 years now, & I have had blood built up behind my eyes that impacted my vision. I underwent many lasers and injections regarding my eyes. Nothing helped, not until my wife & I met Dr. Josephine Chan. Dr.Chan is one of the nicest and most welcoming people my wife and I have met. She performed acupuncture on both of us, & my eyes have never felt so relaxed. Dr.Chan does acupuncture from her heart with the most effort. After Dr.Chan performed acupuncture, my doctor was surprised that the clogged blood behind my eyes was gone. “Dr. Josephine is, without a doubt, the best acupuncturist I’ve ever been to. I’ve seen many practitioners over the years who claimed to practice Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), but Dr. Josephine is the only one who truly lives up to that standard. Her depth of knowledge, attentiveness, and commitment to treating the root cause of health issues—not just managing symptoms—sets her apart from everyone else I’ve encountered. From the very first session, it was clear that she takes a comprehensive and thoughtful approach. She asked detailed questions, really listened, and was able to quickly identify underlying imbalances that had been overlooked by other practitioners. What impressed me most is that she never takes a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Each treatment is tailored, and she’s constantly adjusting her methods based on how your body is responding. I’ve been struggling with chronic health issues for years, and I had almost given up hope of finding real relief. “I had an exceptional first visit with Josephine, an acupuncturist who exudes professionalism and a deep passion for healing. From the moment I walked in, she immediately noticed visible indicators of internal imbalances and took a thorough, methodical approach to addressing them. She patiently explained the fundamentals of acupuncture, including various modalities, meridians, and the yin-yang balance within my system. Her assessment was comprehensive—checking my pulse, tongue, and blood pressure, calmly detailing her findings. During the session, she carefully placed needles in specific sets to realign my body and provided insightful explanations at every step, ensuring I understood what was being worked on and why. She took the time to first cream and then sterilise the acupuncture spots (for minimal prick sensation), noting my dry skin.Then a review of my diet and notably timings of meal consumption. Explained why going without breakfast wasn't favorable to my spleen! Josephine’s affable and practical nature makes the experience both comforting and enlightening. Her office is clean, located in a building with ample parking. She is highly respectful of time as i had an ongoing appointment and makes every minute count.
