“I'm Inna Furmansky, your client and wife of your client Stanislav Furmansky. I would like to express our deep gratitude for having a wonderful social worker Kira Otran and physiotherapist Brenda Dela Cruz at your organization. Their attitude towards the patient and professionalism inspire great respect. Kira's ability to speak with an elderly sick person, instill hope for improvement of his condition and the desire to organize help for him is so important for us. Brenda convinced my husband to believe that regular exercises can improve his situation. She repeated the previous exercises with him  and recommended new ones during all four of her visits. She explained to him why it is important to drink enough water, use a walker, and walk outside in good weather. We heard a lot of other useful advice from Brenda. In addition, Brenda is a very warm person, she knows how to improve the patient's mood and cause optimism.We are grateful to the Home Care for its assistance.”

“My 1st ot did what she wanted I got a chair that would not adequate for my needs. The 2nd talk to my 1st didn't wheelchair didn't get fix. End up with whiplash due to problem not being fix.”

“My sister is using one-to-one rehab through the central LHIN. While 1-to-1 rehab did try to help my sister when my mom made complaints about the care she was receiving from their OT (which is 100 percent valid), they are now saying they can't get involved. I am a teacher myself and always advocate for the parent since they are the ones who know their child best. It's just disappointing that 1 to 1 rehab is not doing the same for my sister. If the OT is part of their agency, they should be trying to work with my mother and sister to ensure that she is in the best hands and proper protocols are being followed. Standards and walkers are essential devices that must be used on a regular basis.”
