Dr. Zachary Starr is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, with a strong foundation in human movement and health science from his Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at York University. His passion for chiropractic care developed during his volunteer work at the Fracture Clinic at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he found a deep interest in the pathophysiology of orthopedic and spinal conditions. Dedicated to helping patients live healthier, more active lives, Dr. Starr focuses on individualized care that supports each person’s unique goals. His clinical interests include sports-related injuries, postsurgical rehabilitation, and nerve-related pain. He also has a strong focus on postural and ergonomic assessment, preventative (prophylactic) care, and patient education. Dr. Starr employs a comprehensive, evidence-informed approach to treatment. His techniques include joint manipulation and mobilization, myofascial release techniques, personalized exercise prescription, and advanced modalities such as laser therapy, IFC (interferential current), and shockwave therapy. Outside the clinic, Dr. Starr enjoys staying active through Brazilian jiu-jitsu and playing guitar. In the winter months, he hits the ice for hockey and heads to the slopes for snowboarding.
