Tyler is a physiotherapist who completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology with Honours from the University of New Brunswick in 2016. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2019. During her time at UNB, Tyler found an interest in helping others with their rehabilitation process. She worked as a student athletic therapist with the UNB women’s rugby team and the St. Thomas University varsity men’s basketball team. She then went on to work with the Citadel Highschool Varsity Men’s Football team while she was completing her Physiotherapy degree in Halifax. Tyler found a passion for treating pelvic health conditions during her physiotherapy degree and completed a clinical rotation in pelvic health. She went on to complete post-graduate pelvic health certification to treat urinary incontinence, pelvic pain disorders, pelvic organ prolapse and pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain. Tyler enjoys treating people of all ages but is especially enthusiastic to help women prepare for birth and return to physical activity postpartum. Tyler believes in a client-centered and active approach to therapy that includes an individualized exercise program tailored to the individual and their lifestyle. She understands the importance of client education and utilizes manual therapy, exercise, soft-tissue release techniques and joint mobilizations in her practice. Her goal is to help you regain function to return to the activities you love. Tyler lives an active lifestyle and enjoys curling, hiking, and running. When she is not in the clinic, you can find her spending time outside with her friends, family, and her dog Hewston.
