My name is Tessie Stevens and I started my career in esthetics 7 years ago. As a women in my 40’s, I pride myself in helping make people look as beautiful as they feel on the inside. I first graduated with my degree in Biomedical biology from Laurentian university and then attended Canadore College in the program of Respiratory Therapy. With an ongoing interest in the medical field, but also a creative soul, I found myself unable to find my perfect career fit. While I considered using my artistic abilities in the field of tattooing, an opportunity to start doing eyelash extensions part time with a local business started me down my current path. As a single parent, this allowed me to work around the needs of my two children and build a career. Once in the field of esthetics, I knew that this was going to be my vocation. After becoming certified as a lash technician and then starting my own business in 2016, I started to expand my skills with certifications in Microneedling, Microblading, Micropigmentation and cosmetic tattooing. I am now fortunate to be able to spend my days helping women and men feel rejuvenated. These services range from a simple set of eyelashes or lash lifts to more complex skin care services including extractions, skin resurfacing, scar and sun damage correction. I truly love what I do and now my journey has brought me to work with the Wellness Studio Group! I look forward to welcoming my new and existing clients to our brand new location!
