B. A., B. Ed., Certified Pilates Mat Teacher Sylvie has been dedicated to the field of education since 1990, bringing decades of experience, compassion, and a love of learning to everything she does. After discovering Pilates at The Movement Studio in 2020, she quickly embraced the powerful connection between a healthy mind and a strong body. Sylvie joined our team at the front desk in 2022, and it wasn’t long before her teaching expertise and passion for movement inspired her to take the next step — becoming a certified Pilates and Movement Teacher. Since 2024, she has been enthusiastically guiding beginner, basic, and all-level Pilates classes, helping clients build strength, confidence, and body awareness. She is especially excited to support her Francophone students through a valued partnership with the CSCT (Centre de santé communautaire de Timmins), combining her passion for movement with her commitment to her Franco-ontarien community.
