À propos de Kristen
Hi, my name is Kristen. I am a compassionate and client-centered Registered Clinical Social Worker
(RSW) with 15 years of experience providing evidence-based mental health support to diverse
populations. I received a Diploma in Child and Youth Care Counselling from Mount Royal University
(2006), a Bachelor of Social Work from University of Manitoba (2009) and my Master of Social Work
from Dalhousie University (2015).
I have worked across Western Canada in the areas of child welfare, the school setting, justice system
and in the hospital (cancer care and mental health system). I have had the privilege of walking
alongside many individuals during their most difficult moments.
I am skilled in individual, group, and family therapy with expertise in treating anxiety, depression, mood
disorder, eating disorder and parent-child relationship. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such
as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and strengths-based
approaches to empower clients toward resilience and self-determination. I have a strong background in
crisis intervention, case management, and multidisciplinary collaboration. I am committed to ethical
practice and fostering safe, inclusive therapeutic environments
