She brings over 18 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families across diverse settings. Hanna’s clinical work is grounded in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, with a strong focus on supporting individuals experiencing complex trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. She has extensive experience working with children and youth, including those with Autism (ASD), ADHD, ODD, and other developmental differences, as well as supporting families navigating behavioural, emotional, and relational challenges. She integrates evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR – trained), alongside somatic and regulation-based strategies to support trauma processing and nervous system stabilization. With a background in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Hanna brings a structured yet compassionate approach to working with children and adolescents, focusing on emotional regulation, behavioural support, and strengthening family systems through psychoeducation and collaboration. Hanna’s work also extends to supporting survivors of sexual violence, domestic and intimate partner violence, as well as individuals navigating displacement, migration, and resettlement, including newcomers, refugees, and first responders. Her approach emphasizes safety, trust-building, and empowering clients through culturally sensitive care. Hanna is currently expanding her expertise in psychometric assessment, with training in tools such as the ADI-R, WISC, WIAT, and the Halstead-Reitan Neuropsychological Test Battery. She is committed to ongoing professional development and plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology. She offers virtual psychotherapy services and is passionate about creating a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients feel supported in their healing and growth.
