Growing up, Josée was always drawn to helping others and found joy in caring for those around her. That passion naturally evolved into a career dedicated to empowering people to achieve their healthiest, happiest lives. She believes healthcare is about more than treating symptoms; it's about building meaningful relationships, educating patients, and supporting them through every step of their wellness journey.
Josée completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa before pursuing naturopathic medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). She is currently completing her licensing examinations to become a Naturopathic Doctor. During her clinical training, she completed a pediatric focus shift, where she discovered a passion for working with children and their families. She also has a strong interest in women's health, preventive medicine, and evidence-informed, patient-centred care.
Dedicated to continually expanding her skills, Josée has completed certifications in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. She enjoys combining these therapies with individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their overall health, support recovery, and feel their best.
Outside of the clinic, Josée enjoys hiking, trying new healthy recipes in the kitchen, and spending time outdoors. She believes that small, sustainable lifestyle changes can have a lasting impact and is passionate about helping her patients build habits that support lifelong health.
En grandissant, Josée a toujours été naturellement attirée par le fait d’aider les autres et trouvait beaucoup de joie à prendre soin des personnes qui l’entouraient. Cette passion l’a tout naturellement menée vers une carrière consacrée à accompagner les gens afin qu’ils puissent atteindre une santé optimale et mener une vie épanouissante. Pour elle, les soins de santé vont bien au-delà du traitement des symptômes : ils reposent sur la création de relations significatives, l’éducation des patients et un accompagnement personnalisé à chaque étape de leur parcours vers le mieux-être.
Josée a obtenu un baccalauréat en sciences de la santé à l’Université d’Ottawa, en français, avant de poursuivre ses études en médecine naturopathique au Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). Elle complète actuellement ses examens d’admission à la profession afin d’obtenir son permis d’exercice à titre de docteure en naturopathie. Au cours de sa formation clinique, elle a effectué un stage axé sur la pédiatrie, où elle a découvert une véritable passion pour le travail auprès des enfants et de leur famille. Elle s’intéresse également à la santé des femmes, à la médecine préventive ainsi qu’à une approche fondée sur les données probantes et centrée sur le patient.
Soucieuse de perfectionner continuellement ses compétences, Josée a obtenu des certifications en drainage lymphatique manuel et en acupuncture de rajeunissement du visage. Elle aime intégrer ces approches à des plans de traitement personnalisés afin d’aider ses patients à améliorer leur santé globale, à favoriser leur récupération et à se sentir au meilleur de leur forme.
En dehors de la clinique, Josée aime faire de la randonnée, découvrir de nouvelles recettes santé en cuisine et profiter du plein air. Elle croit que de petits changements durables au mode de vie peuvent avoir un impact important et à long terme. Elle est passionnée par l’accompagnement de ses patients dans la création d’habitudes qui favorisent une santé et un bien-être durables.
