À propos de Ashley
Ashley is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She also holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Carleton University, where her research explored the impact of climate change on cultural loss on Indigenous communities within Canada. In addition, she holds a diploma in Mental Health and Addictions from Canadore College.
Ashley brings a solid foundation in community mental health and crisis intervention. She has worked as a Child and Youth Protection Worker, supporting children in the Indigenous foster care system as well as their caregivers. She has also provided support through roles with the Canadian Mental Health Association and her local hospital, where she worked as a Peer Support Crisis Worker. In addition, Ashley has experience as a Home Support Worker, providing care and assistance to individuals with a range of needs including burn survivors, individuals with cancer or chronic illness, and older adults.
