“Not my first time at PARK RMT, and honestly every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Had a 60 minute massage with Teresa this time and she really listens to what you need, adjusts pressure and focus without you even having to ask twice. The essential oils and hot towels are such a nice touch too, makes the whole thing feel extra relaxing. Teresa's always so warm and easy to talk to, never feels awkward or rushed. “{update} The owner Theresa reached out to me. She is very kind and professional and offered me a complimentary 30 min massage and apologized profusely for my recent experience. My experience overall was disappointing. The space itself isn’t very relaxing—the walls are thin, so you can hear people walking, talking, and doors shutting. There was also a loud fan in my room that turned on halfway through my massage. As for the massage, I booked a 60-minute deep tissue session with Lauren, and unfortunately it didn’t meet expectations. My appointment was at 3:30—I arrived early, but wasn’t brought in until about 3:35 and the massage didn’t start until closer to 3:40. Normally that wouldn’t be a big issue, but the session also ended early. By the time I changed, paid, and left, it was exactly 4:30, meaning the massage itself was closer to 45 minutes rather than the full hour I paid for. In terms of technique, I specifically requested deep tissue because I prefer firm pressure due to tension and knots. Even after communicating this during the session, the pressure didn’t change. Much of the massage felt light, and there were most moments where the therapist would pause her hands rather than actively working on the muscles. There were a couple of positives—the aromatherapy was pleasant, and the hot towels were a nice touch. “Very poor communication from Park Medi Spa, specifically from the staff member working there named Teresa via both text and email communication.. I received conflicting appointment times and this was disruptive to my workday (the whole point of a massage to me is to be able to relax). This was after I had booked an appointment specifically looking for a female RMT (Lauren) who unfortunately had called in sick and let me know a few hours ahead of my appointment time (which I understand, this can happen unexpectedly) and let me rebook with the male RMT available. But if that is the case, I would expect smooth communication from the Park Medi Spa team when rebooking the appointment. Overall, I would not recommend this business if you want to have ease of scheduling and peace of mind. Other RMT locations I have tried in Ottawa such as Common Ground, Massage Addict or Renu Spa provided a superior customer experience and are more professional establishments. “Eric was so amazing. I have seen 8 other RMTs and they always treat the sessions as a relaxation massage. Eric is the first to ever talk to me first to see what my concerns are and to actually tackle the problem areas. He actually did a deep tissue massage and the pressure was perfect. He was extremely professional and respectful. It was my first time with a male masseur but i didnt feel uncomfortable at any point. After the massage he also provided exercises and stretches i can do to help release the tension in my problem areas. I will be back!!”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Just finished an amazing massage with Eric Lalonde. My first time here and very impressed. My wife booked it for Xmas and so glad she did. Eric did a deep tissue massage unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Very attentive to my problem areas and responsive to my pressure thresholds and I have to admit I sure felt great on my walk home. “This was my first time getting a massage at PARK RMT and it definitely lived up to the great reviews. I booked a 60-minute hot stone massage with Teresa and she was very attentive to my needs. Her technique was both relaxing and effective. The use of essential oils and hot towels really elevated the whole experience.
