“Unfortunately the methodology they teach is just flat out wrong. They’ll teach you to avoid ever rounding your back, in any situation, for any reason. They’ll have you change how you move, stand up, pick things up, etc. until you’re extremely rigid in every movement. If you actually follow their methods your back capacity will deteriorate quickly and movements that didn’t hurt it before will hurt it more. I paid them thousands of dollars over months and religiously followed what they said to do every day. I did all of their exercises every day. It made everything significantly worse - I went from occasionally hurting my back playing sports to throwing my back out rolling over in bed at night. Skip paying them and instead follow the methodology of Low Back Ability. Make your back actually healthy instead of weak.”

“I had Spinal Surgery in 2013 with Dr. Jeff Golan. Until this January, I was managing quite well until I shoveled snow after a snow storm. I hadn't felt pain like that since before my operation. I sought out help at my local physio in Hudson and found that I wasn't getting better. This is when I had a new MRI done and consulted Dr. Golan. He suggested that perhaps I wasn't doing the appropriate exercises for my particular injury and referred me to SPC. I was greeted by Carrie, what a lovely, helpful person. As I was making my appointment for an assessment in a couple of weeks, Carrie provided me with a wealth of information and explained that the stretches I was doing was preventing me from healing. I immediately stopped the exercises and followed Carrie's guidelines for bending, sitting etc... I began to heal rapidly and two weeks later when I met Jay the disc had subsided and was not pinching my nerve as much. Jay was AWESOME. He knows his stuff and really cares about finding where your triggers are and finding the APPROPRIATE exercises to help heal each individual's specific problems. I cannot recommend SPC highly enough.
