“I had been living with back/shoulder/neck pain for over 20 years. Over the years I have tried deep tissue massage and physiotherapy but with no real results and no relief. The massage always felt great at the time but I always left with the same knots in my left shoulder. I had become somewhat resigned to the idea that this was something I would just have to learn to live with. It was only once the tension headaches began that I knew I had to try something else. The one thing I had not yet tried was Chiropractic Treatment and decided to stop into Sheppard Chiropractic. I was able to get an appointment during that first visit and I felt immediate relief after just the first treatment. Now after less than two weeks I am waking up in the morning without pain and remain pain-free throughout the day. No more tension headaches and my range of motion has improved greatly. “Went in with no real ailments at all, figured I had benefits and why not get a spinal tune up. Upon asking me many questions about possible ailments to which I replied “no” to each and every one, I started realizing I didn’t really need chiropractic attention. But even after the extremely expensive 5 minutes of 3 sets of “cracking” my bones or whatever, I realllly realized I didn’t need the services. That didn’t stop him from HARD closing on two more sessions that week. And three a week for the next month! This would have been around $1200 for the month for services I absolutely did not need. Many who are not as assertive as me would just go along with him because he’s a doctor. He didn’t say “well it’s my recommendation that, or my medical opinion is that..., or would you like to come in for more treatments... etc” He said “ok we are gonna get you to come in tomorrow and one more time this week. Then 3 times a week for the next month and see where we are from there” Completely a hard, assumptive close, completely uncomfortable booking situation. With benefits I only paid $20 for the “consultation” that I said no to every question, and for the procedures, and it still felt like a huge ripoff. Imagine a doctor trying to book you for 11 more $100 sessions, when you’ve both basically determined you don’t need the services. Felt like a hard close money grab plain and simple. Would never ever go back and will always warn people of the slimy sales tactics employed by this doctor in a nightclub shirt. I’m in sales and this was the hardest, most assumptive, aggressive close I have ever seen in real life by anybody. I feel bad for the people that don’t object, and get taken advantage of. But hey maybe the actually need the services so who knows. And a policy clearly written everywhere in the waiting room is you must cancel 24 hours before your appointment or they charge full price. My appointment was very early evening. Maybe 5:15pm And of course the first appointment he wanted me for was 11:am. Maybe a coincidence, but it also felt like a tactic to extract money from people and insurance companies. Because less assertive people might go home. Think about it, maybe not have seen the policy in the waiting room, call in the morning and cancel and be charged the full amount. Felt like a money grab situation, but then again I didn’t need the services at all, just wanted to see what the process entailed.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“I have had lower back problems for a few years. Brought on by years of sports and being in the moving business. I was very reluctant to go to a chiropractor and finally decided to a couple years ago. I've been going to Jeff now for a couple years. Every time I've ever put my back out he's been able to get me straightened out and back on my feet in no time. I was just recently planning a big trip and put my back out to the point I couldn't get out of bed for a long time. I was able to go and see Jeff because I wanted to be able to go on my trip . After a week of being basically bed ridden with excruciating back pain, Jeff had me back up and walking just in time for my trip. The wholestaff is awesome!
