“I was raving to my partner about my experience today so I had to write this review. This was my second time visiting Rain Spa and it again exceeded my expectations!! I first got a therapeutic massage from Cindy who O M G was absolutely amazing!! Honestly one of the best massages I have ever received. She really listened to me when I told her what I needed and went above and beyond to the root of the pain. I can’t wait to come back to get another! Okay, so after that incredible massage I didn’t want my relaxation to end. So I booked a shellac manicure and facial, I was so happy they fit me in after my massage. My esthetician was Myriam and she made my day. Her knowledge, attention to detail, kindness, and expertise was absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I felt so taken care of and my skin and nails have never looked better. Her work is meticulous. Usually when estheticians recommend products it feels like an upsell but NOT with Myriam, she made me feel like she truly had my best interests at heart and the knowledge to back it up. Explaining her process and the products in such great detail. I was happy to purchase 3 out of 4 of the products she recommended and now am contemplating just buying the 4th because thats how much I trust her. She made me feel confident again, my skin hasn’t glowed like this in months and I really did start feeling like myself again!! I just told my partner that he will have to drive me here from Toronto quarterly so I can continue to receive facials from Myriam!! Needless to say, I WILL BE BACK. I’m so happy with my experience. “What an amazing experience! The Rainspa has been the best addition to our stay at Hotel Place d’Armes! Eric (Erik?) was the most considerate and kind massage professional I’ve experienced. As someone new to massages he was informative, asked for clear consent, and kept checking in during the whole process! He really made me feel comfortable which allowed me to enjoy the entire experience. 10000% recommend! I also have to give a huge thank you to the ladies at the reception desk! They have been kind, gracious, and informative. Never bothered by questions and always trying to make sure you get the best experience out of it all. “my friend and I took our first little holiday away from the kids after 7 years and decided to spend the afternoon at the spa. We chose Rainspa because of the positive reviews and location in the old port. Everyone was kind and polite and both our masseuses were very sweet but we both found our massage too light. More importantly, we were surprised with the layout and installation. It felt like they squished rooms a little everywhere; the tiny changing room was in between hotel rooms and so was the nail salon which did not feel very luxurious. We both agreed for the price and for the location it was disappointing and did not have the spa feeling we were hoping to enjoy. “Really enjoyed my first experience at this spa. The staff is knowledgeable and polite. Treatment was great and they have an incredible variety of quality products available to purchase as well. My facial treatment was with Myriam and I strongly recommend her!”
