“Excellent experience having Michael Pomerleau as my therapist. He is extremely knowledgeable about how muscles hold tension and he did an amazing job during my 90 minute session. “I recently visited this clinic for the first time and had a great experience. First off, the clinic was easy to find and was very clean. I was greeted warmly by my therapist, who was very friendly and professional. My therapist was incredibly skilled, attentive, and took the time to understand my concerns and focused on the areas where I needed the most relief. The massage itself was one of the best I've ever had. I also appreciated that they used a heated bed, which added to the overall experience as I often get cold. “I will start with the good which is that I didn't have difficulty finding the location, and the clinic was very clean. The price also felt reasonable to me when I booked the appointment. With that being said, I felt very uncomfortable throughout my appointment. The massage therapist took almost every opportunity to speak about Jesus, the Bible, and religion, which I didn't feel was particularly appropriate. For example, I shared how I loved to study in the library. He told me the only thing he liked to study was the Holy Scriptures and asked me if there were any passages from the Bible that I liked. I awkwardly laughed and said "No, I've never read the Bible" and he continued to talk about how inspiring it is to read the New Testament because he is getting to read the word of God. Or at one point, I joked about how it felt unfair that, as someone in their early 20s, I was experiencing this much neck pain. He then comments on how "we are not all made right" which is why believes in eternal salvation in Heaven. And I'm sure he didn't mean it like that, but as a gay man, that kind of rhetoric has historically been used against us. The guy seemed very sweet and genuine, but I feel like there is a time and place. I felt like I spent 120$ for someone to preach at me. And the cherry on top is that I felt very little relief from the massage itself. The rest of the reviews are positive, so maybe I got unlucky, but I figured I should share my experience.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Drove 45 minutes from home to try Poised Massage for a prenatal massage. Massage time was 1120, arrived at 1105 and the building was dark, no one anatomy the phone inside despite opening hours being 10am. I waited 20 minutes, still no one showed up. I called multiple times. Left a message the last time to let them know I had been waiting and to ensure that I wouldn't be charged a cancelation fee for them not showing up and left. Recieved a call a few minutes later stating that there had been car trouble and I wouldn't be charged. Nothing about coming in for the massage at that time, nothing about any sort of compensation on a future massage to make up for my hour of wasted time. Will not be trying again.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“🛑 try it out 🛑 what this place lacks in size, it makes it up in the quality of service and care! Not a chain massage place, owner run massage therapy office!
