I LOVE angus podiatry! They fixed my ingrown toenail and the wait time/waitlist was so short. The podiatrist was very sweet and explained everything to me very clearly. You’re in good hands if you go to angus podiatry. They even do a free follow up appointment if you have a matricectonic partielle for an ingrown toenail to check in to make sure to healing is on track. The front desk ladies are very helpful and sweet too! The clinic setting/environment is very soothing too

My partner and I had appointments today at 6:30 PM. We were asked to arrive a bit earlier for paperwork and check-in, which went smoothly. The receptionist was incredibly kind, attentive, and always had a smile on her face. Clear instructions and overall great service from her. However, the podiatry service itself was quite disappointing. We were asked if we wanted to be seen in the same room or separately. We found that interesting and chose the same room, but upon entering, we realized there was only one chair—meaning one person would just sit and watch while the other was being treated. So we asked to be seen in separate rooms, assuming we’d be treated at the same time by different professionals. That wasn’t the case. I was seen first. The podiatrist was polite and asked several times if I had any pain or discomfort, which I appreciated. But the session lasted less than 20 minutes (I timed it). She gently used a scalpel on a few calluses, trimmed the nails, smoothed some rough spots, and did a very quick posture evaluation. That was it. For a $125 session, I expected far more attention to detail and a much more thorough service. After she finished with me, I heard her enter the next room to start with my partner—which confirmed that only one professional was available, even though we were both booked for the same time. That made no sense. The space itself is lovely—very clean, full of plants, and cozy. But honestly, if it weren’t covered by my work insurance, I would never pay $125 out of pocket for something so brief and basic. I've had much better and more detailed treatments in Chinatown for half the price.

First visit review (will follow up after the following one). (Fair warning, not many places to lock your bike) The space is quite clean and comfortable. The receptionist was courteous. Set me up in the exam room quite quickly as I finished off my initial paperwork. Dr Beatrice Goggin was polite and professional. Took her time to answer questions and address all problems. The whole exam lasted about 30 minutes with admin stuff in the start and end around 15 minutes. Initial visit is 115$. However, I was charged an extra fee to cover a second topic (65$). The receptionist apologized as they usually inform their clients on this fee. I would advice being clear about your intentions so you can have a good idea of costs. Total was 180$ for an initial consult + a charge called "clinic follow-up". As this is a private clinic, your medicare card is not needed, and if your insurance is not covering enough, you can decide to follow up with x-rays or other tests via a family doctor which will be covered by the RAMQ. Scheduling was easy and overall, it was a good experience. (UPDATE) I didn’t follow through with a second appointment (family doctor followed through with testing nails for fungus. It was included with RAMQ services). In the end, my private insurance capped the refund of podiatrist and was not able to reclaim the full amount. I wouldn’t have had this issue if I was only charged the initial fee. Instead, was charged an additional service fee that was not covered and the podiatrist did not mention this before following through. If you need orthopedic souls in your shoes, shoo around for the best option that suits your insurance. Double check with your insurer beforehand.
