“I had an appointment with this physiotherapy clinic yesterday, but when I woke up in the morning, I had a fever. Out of consideration for their staff and other patients, I decided not to go and called to cancel. Despite this, they still charged me for the appointment. I understand their cancellation policy requires notice a day in advance, but how am I supposed to predict when I’ll get sick? There should be some flexibility in cases of illness—especially when the alternative is showing up sick and potentially spreading an infection. Instead of prioritizing patient well-being, they seem more focused on enforcing rigid rules. At the very least, they could have offered to reschedule my appointment instead of just charging me. “At first I was skeptical but it really works. I have been receiving acupuncture treatment from Emannuelle over the past few months following a work accident that caused labral tear in my hip. Since beginning treatment I have been benefitting in countless ways. My pain levels, muscular endurance & pliability, and recovery times have all massively improved. I was able to notice the benefits the most when she came back from a 2 week vacation. Resuming treatments immediately improved the effectiveness of my physiotherapy regime. I would recommend receiving acupuncture treatments from her to anyone looking to add a cherry on top of their current workout or physiotherapy program.
