“I had my first visit with Emma (physio) after struggling with really bad lower back pain for a month. Nothing I was doing on my own was helping. Emma was amazing - she asked thoughtful questions, really listened, and took the time to understand what was going on. What impressed me most was that she had me show her how I was stretching at home. I was doing the right types of stretches, but not in the right way for my injury. She explained everything clearly, helped me understand the muscles involved, and updated my routine with stretches that actually work for my recovery. I left feeling understood, hopeful, and in good hands. Highly recommend!”

“I joined Stu's online workouts less than a year ago based on a recommendation from my mother. I live in Italy but am from Ottawa. Stu's attitude and skill has kept me motivated to work out in and out of numerous quarantines in both Rome and Ottawa. “I've been following Stuart's live advanced workouts on Facebook twice a week for several months now, and they're among the best out there. The workouts are well planned and Stu's a great coach, planning challenging routines and giving great guidance on how to do the exercises properly. He pays attention to who's watching, too -- it feels like he's a friend right there with you, urging you on. I don't live in Ottawa, but if I did, I'd be a regular at Movement Union.”

“I started training with Stuart about five years ago - I was lucky enough to get connected with him through a friend who has trained with him for years. He is a great trainer and I am so happy for him to have his own gym now. I love the Movement Union and my workouts with Stuart. I am not normally a gym rat, but this gym is so much nicer than most. There are no televisions blaring, the place is flooded with natural light and it's spotlessly clean. Most of all, I feel like I am in the hands of an experienced personal trainer who knows his stuff inside-out and is always looking for new ways of challenging me. I've introduced a number of friends to Stuart and his business, and they are reaping the rewards of getting stronger and fitter. His workouts are an excellent complement to our sports - cross-country skiing, cycling and running - and we all feel like we are getting better at our sports thanks to the work we do with Stuart. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!”
