If you are unable to find an appointment within your desired time frame, we strongly suggest that you book the earliest possible appointment and then make use of the wait list feature. Cancellations can be frequent, especially in the winter months. To use this feature, just click on your therapist of choice then scroll to the bottom of the list of treatments. You will find a link there where you can specify dates and times you are available if an opening comes up. Please be sure to select the appropriate treatment from the drop-down menu when using this feature.

We are now working out of the Ottawa Birth and Wellness Centre at 2260 Walkley Road (on the southeast corner at St. Laurent), Suite 101. Enter at the Wellness Centre entrance under the big Canon sign at the front of the building. Please DO NOT ring the bell at the Birth Centre entrance at the back.

PLEASE DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT IN YOUR OWN NAME.
As a parent/guardian you DO NOT need an account in your own name. The account also serves as the medical record so it must be in the name of the person receiving treatment (i.e. your child). By putting your email address in your child’s account you will receive all notifications. There is no need for you to have your own account. If you create one we will have to take the time to delete it.

“I have been seeing Marie at MAP since my stroke in 2009. Marie, with her magic hands, successfully restored the muscle tone to the stroke affected side of my body. Marie's expertise and her unique approach is unmatched in the city. She truly gets to the root of the problem. 16 years later, I continue to travel 60+ km one way to see her for any realignments or other health issues that need attention. “After reading Marie's blog post on the topic of the "Banana Baby", we knew we wanted to see her to help my granddaughter. She definitely fit the description as she was experiencing a lot of cramping, constipation and pain that couldn't be relieved with usual newborn bicycle kicks, etc, and her posture was the shape of a banana. After two sessions with Marie, we had a different baby. She was more relaxed and her bowels moved too. She was not in a lot of discomfort and she was overall a happier baby. “My daughter was born with femoral anteversion which basically means her legs were turning inwards, causing her to trip often. She wore orthopedic shoes as a baby for long hours every day over the course of a year, but this did not help at all. After several consults with CHEO Orthopedics, we were told no other interventions would be implemented because they felt the issue would likely correct itself naturally. We were left frustrated as her legs did not get better for the following few years. When she was six years old, a friend recommended Marie. Alexia started physio with Marie in July 2019 and we are happy to report that her legs are markedly improved! She runs so much better without tripping! “My entire family has been helped by Marie at MAP Physiotherapy. I first saw Marie three years ago after a back injury. She was able to find the root cause and resolve some long term issues that I just thought I had to live with. I have also taken both my children to her. My son was having leg pains and his feet were turning out while he walked. Marie helped with his growing pains, and we make sure to book appointments after each growth spurt. She also helped my daughter who was having back and hip pain. We thought this was a result of virtual learning and an awkward desk situation. Marie identified a minor leg length difference. After one treatment, she felt so much better. Marie has been a huge help during the pandemic as we adjust to working from home and less than ideal desk setup. Marie has helped address back and shoulder pain. Her clinic has been very proactive in following all COVID-19 protocols and ensuring that everyone is safe. “I'm in love with the service here! I had a serious sprain to my ankle a few years ago, but was not able to receive treatment at the time. I recently followed up with Marie, from map Physiotherapy who was instrumental on getting me more stable on my feet. Not only was she efficient and Incredibly knowledgeable, she was a very kind person and put me at ease. She was able to identify some stability issues I was having, and educated me on steps to take to improve at the end of service. “MAP Physiotherapy is a great clinic with lots of great services. They work with clients one-on-one, which is wonderful. I see Victoria Goodman at MAP and she is an excellent physiotherapist. She takes the time to truly get at the root of an issue so that she is finding long-term solutions that will be sustainable. She has worked with me on many ongoing issues and has helped me to regain mobility in my hips that I thought I had lost forever. In a couple of months my hip mobility is better than it has been in years and years. Victoria also treated my son, an elite swimmer, for a shoulder injury. She devised an exercise program to get him back in the pool as quickly and safely as possible. Victoria takes the time to explain what she is working on. She gives a few targeted exercises to do at home that work with your schedule and routine. Victoria is passionate about helping people and it comes through in her work. And to top it all off, she works on Saturdays so you don't have to rush over there during the week! I highly recommend Victoria for anyone looking for a great physiotherapist.”Lire la suiteRéduire
