“Wizardress. It’s not a word we hear that often in 2025. In fact, IOS spellcheck has underlined it as an unacceptable word. Well! May I tell you, Siri, about a real life wizardress who is more than acceptable, in fact, I believe she is the most powerful sorcerer in this neck of the woods. Her given human from name is Emily Desmarais, and it was my first visit to her enchanted kingdom. I had some issues with my upper back area due to smashing my bicycle at low speed on some of that hard tarmac many fortnights ago, and really needed help - of a mystical kind. She was able to see me within days due to a cancellation, and from when I entered the coven hoped her magic would cure me. Now, I won’t disclose personal medical information, but I can confidently say that she was courteous, kind, had powerful spells, incredible grip strength, and looked and acted rather convincingly like a human would. The room was a vibe, as the young folks say, with essential oils, relaxing music, low mood lighting, and a heated bed. If I didn’t get a recommendation from Jody the other neighborhood magician, I would say this Mrs. Demaris was trying to seduce me! But I resisted her charms and she kept kneading the pain away with elbows, thumbs, bat wings (I could only guess since I had my eyes closed), and I do believe she also threw a fire belly newt into her cauldron at some point as well. The 90 minutes went by quickly at times, although time seemed to slow as well, she really went to town on the scar tissue and melted cheese fascia. We used food analogies to describe the layers and stuff she was hittin’. As you can tell I ain’t no magician myself. Which is to say, she is a flipping rockstar mang, and I will be going back again after I destroy my body in fun ways and paying her in cold hard cash and tipping her with a cold beer again. 5 out 5 stars, highly recommend, I’ve already told 2 IRL friends about her. “I have been to Emily 3 times after a friend recommended her. She is absolutely amazing! She listens to any concerns you may have and gives you recommendations on what stretches would help going forward after your appointment. She does check ins to make sure that the amount of pressure is not too much or if you need more. I highly recommend Emily if you are looking for a massage therapist. “Emily is excellent! She knows intuitively what areas need to be worked on I always leave feeling both energized and relaxed. She is always quick to respond to inquiries and has a user-friendly automated system for booking, payments etc. There is always adequate free street parking directly in front.
