I went to Dr Yann with extreme neck pain and he really helped me with that. He is amazing and instructed me on how can I make things better with my posture and all, very informative and helpful. I would give 10 stars if i could.

Speechless! God knows, my situation is among the worst one, and as a former professional athlete, Dr. D'Amboise keeps on delivering at the highest level. His experience and know-how combined are unequivocally the best - for those out there that are serious to get their body right, you're knocking the right door.

I have had scoliosis for many years, but I didn't take care of it. Eventually, it started causing problems in different parts of my body. Yann managed to strengthen my spine within a few sessions. After a few months of weekly visits, the results stabilised and the curve did not return. The side effects of the scoliosis have also gone. I'm glad I met Yann — his approach to working with the spinal cord and muscles is really effective.

I don't like leaving bad reviews and was conflicted if I should leave this (esp as I liked Yann as a person, seemed like someone fun I'd grab a beer with, hence the 2 stars, not 1) but I was very disappointed w/ my experience, especially since I then went to another Chiro (Lesley Douglas in Toronto) that showed me how a proper Chiro addresses someone that comes in with major pain, here was the situation (I want to lay it out so he doesn't say I was being unfair): - I woke up with a discomfort in my neck (probably b/c of a new pillow) and it got progressively worse as I went to the office (some cold exposure may have worsened it)... By the evening I could barely move my neck or change w/o a lot of pain. I had to leave to Toronto for the next evening for a family event so needed to fix this fast. - next morning I took a sick day from work and texted Yann for an emergency appointment and he told me to come in around 11 am, the neck had loosened up a bit but still pretty painful. - I go there and despite me specifying this is an emergency, he insists that he's just going to be doing an initial assessment and the neck issue is something from bad habits that I need to fix fundamentally (while I clearly said it's due to a pillow change), so instead of him focusing on my neck, he wants to give me a full assessment, put his elbow in my calf, crack my back (with little disregard to the fact that I have a painful neck injury) and show how much he knows and how important it is to go to a Chiro and how I should come for 10 sessions... HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO COME BACK IF YOU DON'T HELP ME AT ALL WITH THE ISSUE I CAME IN WITH?? It's like going to a dentist with a toothache and all he talks about is importance of flossing and brushing, YES, I KNOW, BUT FIX MY ISSUE FIRST. I had to force it out of him if heat or cold is better or Advil or Tylenol (he was saying that's just going to cover the issue not fix the underlying situation (I know but I don't care because I'm in a lot of pain and need to travel 6 hours tonight!!) - Compare this to my experience in going to a Chiro my sister suggested in Toronto (Lesley Douglas), I go there and he's not worried about securing a client for 10 sessions: He asks me to turn my head this way and tell me the pain level so he can pinpoint which muscles are causing this. He massages my neck a bit and patiently explains how the neck and back muscles are connected, I ask him about the different pills and creams and he explains how each work and why one would be better than the other for my case. He suggests that we can stimulate the muscle by running some current through it for short-term pain relief but that really it'll take 4-6 days for this to go away and 2 weeks before I can do weight training again. He then suggests how I can sleep to not aggravate it and sends me some neck exercises through an app that I should do as I regain mobility back in my neck (ALL AT NO EXTRA COST).... This is how I expect a Chiro to deal with an acute pain issue and I would be happy to go back to work on my fundamentals (and I'll also be leaving him an awesome review). But Unfortunately, with Yann, he never showed me that he cares enough about the problem that I came in with and preferred to ignore my acute pain to work on my "Fundamentals" (and get 10 visits from me), this is bed side manners 101 that all doctors should go through. Sorry Yann, you seem like a great guy but I had a terrible experience with you, I know I'm an easy going guy, maybe I should've been more forceful in demanding that you address my neck issue but you were very adamant in ignoring my requests.

First time at a chiro, very professional, great follow-up. Got rid of constant back and neck pains in a matter of few weeks.

Yann is awesome and knows his stuff. I've seen 2 other chiropractors prior to him, for lower back pain (I had a spinal deviation), and Yann is the first one to actually succeed at straightening my back and reducing the pain by about 80%. His treatment is a mix of chiropracty, physiotherapy and acupressure, so it covers all angles that can create unbalances in the body + he taught me proper posture. As a bonus I'm now 1cm taller :)

I was Yann's client for three years. Then one day I asked him to send me for x-rays. He initially agreed, but then texted me canceling my next appointment and ending our professional relationship.

100 stars! My First session was a real learning experience about daily habits that cause back pain (crossing your legs, sleep positions, etc), and then each session is about correcting those misalignments. Since then, each session is straight to the point of realigning and looking at what you have been doing well and not with changing your habits at home. My discomfort went from 7/10 per day to about a 1 or 2/10 from these sessions - thanks Yann!

I have seen Yann for about 2 yrs. He was recommended by my family doctor and to be honest the best decision I have ever taken. I have a lot of back pain and he help me a lot . He is very professional, knowledgeable. I recommend him as well !!

I started seeing Yann about 6 months ago when I was having some acute back pain. He was able to see me on very short notice, and within just 2 or 3 visits, the pain was virtually gone. I have continued to see him on a regular basis for maintenance, and my back and neck have been pain free. I cannot recommend him more highly!
