“I don’t usually leave bad reviews, for local businesses but service here needs to improve, service has greatly declined in the last few years. I recently moved back to the area and called 6 months before my needed cleaning (I decided to go back because I was a client there previously, had good service and had payed for a lifetime of teeth whitening), the secretary told me that they where short staffed on hygienists and that the wait is long I said that is fine and that I only need my cleaning at that time, they said they would need to reactivate my file and do the big X-rays and what not and I agreed made the appointment. 6 months later I arrive for my cleaning and they hadn’t booked it in only the the x rays and a bunch of measurements of my jaw (never had that done in a dentist office before not even at his when I was a clients previously, only did this at my orthodontist when I used to have braces)I was frustrated because I live an hour away and wanted to have both procedures at the same time like I had asked but was courtious just the same. I work as an x rays tech and the dental assistant wasn’t following proper protocol for x ray protection for herself and radiated her self a few times unnecessarily so I told kindly that I know it’s not a lot of radiation but that she should try and go behind the wall to minimize her exposure because she is young and she looked annoyed at me and kept doing it. After all was done I asked about my teeth whitening stuff and they told me they would only give it after I a rebooked for my cleaning booked in 1 years time but that they would call me if there was cancellations. (220$ for this part) Dentist came in and then booked me in the next days for replacement of fillings. (This part was good service and the dentist is competent) They called me and I got in 3months later on a cancellation, hygienist was nice. They had a worker repairing the tv attached to the ceiling the whole time I was having my cleaning (this should not happen when a patient is in the room especially when they have multiple empty rooms because of being short staffed) When all was done I asked about my teeth whitening syringe and she said oo because you left you don’t get that anymore but let me check with the supervisor. Came back and told me y that it was not valid anymore, I told them it was the only reason that I came here and that they were all aware individually because I had told all of them every time I went and on the phone, again they responded with sorry nothing we can do… I promptly told them that I was not coming back here and to cancel all further appointments. I have friends that are dentist in other provinces and I know for a fact that the whitening tubes barely cost anything, it’s a shame that they loose a client over this and they only let me know about it after I had done everything else, I could have saved 220$ for “reopening” my already existing account plus time and gas driving.”Lire la suiteRéduire
