“I used to live in the Plateau and was walking distance to Baraka from where I lived. I had my first deep tissue massage with Layla in 2020 and it was incredible. She is the first massage therapist to use the strong pressure I requested and I have been a dedicated client since. 3 years later, I've moved neighborhoods now but will still commute 40 mins to see Layla for a massage. Other notes: - As others have mentioned, there can sometimes be audible noise from the upstairs neighbors which is hard to control. - The morning to early afternoon discount used to be 15% and is now 10% which I wish didn't change. - There is also a 10% discount for students.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Had 3 great sessions with Eduardo. He was kind, professional, and great at what he does. Helped relieve my back pain and provided tips. Would highly recommend him! The location is well suited for anyone in the plateau and there are bixi stations/free parking nearby. Booking my first session and each session after that was super easy. “I am from Toronto, but I was visiting Montreal for work and I have chronic pain and inflammation. I was in so much pain that day and desperately needed a massage. I went to Bakara and saw Eduardo for a 2 hour massage. I have NEVER had a better, more healing massage in my life!! I get massages once a month and get one in every city or country I travel to. Eduardo was BY FAR, THE BEST I’VE EVER HAD!!! His technique was something I have never experienced before. It was phenomenal!!! I’m considering coming to Montreal just to see him for treatment, because no one has been able to release and treat my pain the way he has! If you’re looking for the best massage therapist in the world, do yourself a favour and go see Eduardo!! He blew my mind!! Also, he was quiet and respectful. They are lucky to have him! “I had an amazing experience at Baraka with Antoine. I called on a whim and asked to have someone who could get a knot out of my shoulder. My experience was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and precise and went directly to my problem areas and alleviated a lot of my pain and gave me a renewed sense of mobility.
