“Beyond 5 Stars! Barbara’s Expertise Changed My Life! Barbara’s knowledge and expertise go beyond any specialist or physiotherapist I’ve seen. She accurately assessed my ongoing shoulder issue and immediately recognized that it required surgery—not just physiotherapy. Thanks to her guidance through Carleton Sports Medicine, I was able to get an MRI, undergo surgery, and regain my mobility. But she didn’t stop there! Barbara also correctly diagnosed my ankle injury, identifying torn lateral ligaments that had been missed on an MRI. The surgeon confirmed her assessment, performed the necessary repairs, and now—I can run again! Barbara’s skill, insight, and dedication are truly unmatched. “Mrs. Barbara Stefanska is an excellent physiotherapist with vast professional experience. Upon my arrival, Barbara assessed my complicated and chronic condition very accurately and immediately drew and applied a plan for my treatment. Only after 3 visits and prescribed exercises one of my chronic conditions disappeared completely :) and the remaining ones (also a chronic problem) improved significantly. With every visit and complying with prescribed exercises, I see a big improvement. We are well into conquering the remaining chronic conditions. In addition to the highest professional standard, Barbara is a very caring person who makes you feel welcome and treats you with a big smile. I recommend Activa physiotherapy to anyone.
